If one of Stallone’s daughters went to star in a new Rocky movie in the same style they did with “the next karate kid.“ starring Hilary Swank, then this cover/version would fit perfectly. Women can box too. May I suggest you a cover? “The Harder You Love.” by Tuesday Knight. It would suit your voice perfectly. Tuesday was known for her role in one of the Freddy Krueger’s movies and for singing the theme to the movie itself but I assume they tried to sell her like another pop star... But the song they chose as a single... “Out of Control.” It wasn’t that good, if they had tried with “Temporary Obsession.” Tuesday would have probably performed better on the charts but well... You can’t change the past. Anyhow “The Harder You Love.” is nowhere near pop, it could easily be AOR Rock. There’s also “Broken Dream.” by Stan Meissner featuring vocals by Terry Crawford. This last one requires a little more range I believe but check it out. In other words. I loved this version of yours. I’m adding you on my Spotify charts. Again great version! 😎
