It took me several weeks to get under mine, because I wasn't in the garage every day, had to pack up and lock the car each time, bring all tools back and forth and I constantly had to get new tools, mostly to get to the bolts that hold the air intake manifold to the block.

I would then take the seat out (it's very easy to do, just 4 nuts under the car, you don't even need to raise it) to get some more room. I have never removed the knee bolsters, but perhaps you need to do that too. Fot the one spinning, I would either try ti pry the binnacle upwards (when you get all other nuts off) and jam it with a screwdriver or something) and see if you can get leverage on the nut, or simply cut the nut off. You would then need to have new studs tac welded on once you get the binnacle off. Or just use four or five nuts when you put it back. Protip: replace the nuts with wing nuts when you are done. Thx. There is an "inertia switch" in the driver side footwell, which is supposed to open the doors and cut of the fuel pump in case of impact. Mine is however by-passed. And also, it only works if the battery is connected, and mine is not at the moment.

I assume if you would install LEDs into a non-warped fascia, it would not at all be as affected by the heat. However, if you fixa an already warped fascia and change to LED at the same time, I would recommend reinforcing, since it seems very easy for the fascia to "warp" back from heat (I noted this when I was doing several passes with the heatgun), perhaps even in very warm sunlight.
