It has a 360 Ford engine is the original engine, they pulled the engine out and rebuild it. It only had 17,000 miles on it. It now lives on Allan Island in the San Juan Islands right off the Anacortes Washington. I saw it through my telescope pull up big trailer off the transport and I saw it disappeared up the hill into the woods. First time I've seen it in a while wasn't enough to see if it looks as good as when I had it. I'm sure they've probably taken good care of it.

1937 Ford, Whilst I was still serving in the Military, My boss inherited one thing off his parents, A 1937 four door Ford that nobody knew about, So he bought it to the engineers workshop and said fix it, make it new again, so we did, since you don't say no to a Chief Petty officer. I fell in love with that car. We rebuilt it put a modern engine in it, a proper ducted air con. reupholstered it. It is still my all time favourite car 40+ tears later.

Backup lights and seatbelts were optional for the 64.5. Just missing the Rally Pack on this one. I wonder if the original air cleaner and valve covers are available with the car? I like the look of the Shelby stuff too, but for potential resale you have to have the original parts. Many people prefer them.

My dad used to love going to Drager's on Dexter to visit, and talk about bikes. I was a little kid of 6, 7, 8, 9 at the time. My dad passed away at 61 in 1969. I still remember those big beautiful Harvey's. Glad to see the family business is still in operation. Best wishes.

It's a shame someone removed the original Brooks gauges and replaced them with gauges that look like they were lifted out of a 1992 Nissan Maxima. Undo that error, remove the garish aftermarket headlights and replace them with normal Euro spec H4s and you'll have a beautiful car again. Oh, by the way, I am totally okay with the Chevy 350 in it. 😁

@@dragersclassics Very much so! I didn’t like some of the clunking noises it made when shifting but probably something easy to fix like motor mounts.

I enjoy watching your KZbin videos, your video quality is really good. Did you know that your videos will be watched by interesting people? But why are your video views and subscribers very little? Because your KZbin channel is not getting lots of more views and subscribers due to some problem. I can share if you are interested.

I want to know why the old coot who owned it was so mean he wouldn’t even let his kids talk about it or look at it. His wife could have auctioned it and made a fortune. Unfortunately she snd the family didn’t know any better because of him being such a dumbass.

What a sweetheart! I see you have the correct 64 1/2 only exhaust system as well! People are going to argue with you and scream that there is no such thing as a 64 1/2 Mustang. While it was indeed introduced and sold as a 1965 car, almost everything about it is different from the "real" 65, almost a completely different car. Just list all the differences. In case you don't know, in addition the the hood, headlight bezels, generator, radiator bulkhead, and the horns, the exhaust system is different, the fuzzies in the window channels are different - black enameled in the 64 1/2, stainless steel in the 65, (Ford used to call it Rustless steel), passenger seat is solidly bolted to the floor on the 64 1/2, floors are better finished on the 64 1/2, steering wheel is different - looks the same, but try swapping horn rings. Can't be done. Gas cap is not tethered on 64 1/2, and the bell housing bolt pattern is different. Too many changes to be considered just Running changes. If you mentioned these, my apology, my speakers quit working, so I can't hear.
