As much as i enjoy Hope's character on here, and the other teens, man do they annoy me with the way they act like they don't need to listen to the ppl who have tons more experience and therefore, wisdom than them . Just like Vampire Diaries all over again, letting teens, who're either complete newbies to the supernatural world or relatively protected from it up to this point, be the ones who are almost always making the big decisions on how to do things in regards to supernaturals who are unknowns or obvious enemies is the most ridiculous and unrealistic part of these series. Hope definitely deserved what Alaric said but she also deserved some kind of punishment for using her powers against the headmaster of the school, like, wtf, she might be the tribrid but that was beyond ok. Teens thinking they almost ALWAYS know better than their elders is a receipe for disaster. Also, really didn't like how they made all the girls bad asses while making the guys weaklings who almost always needed them to come up with plans and save the day. Should have balanced it more, again, made it more realistic in that aspect.
