Don't we have independent GDP statistics from the World Bank and IMF, of which we are a voluntary signatory member state? Can we not say, we will use the average between the World Bank and IMF GDP stats for Kenya, as our official GDP stat. Then using that as a benchmark, we say, no public servant, should earn more that 3X per capital GDP per annum in per month in Kenya. So say for example our per capital GDP based on the world bank and IMF average is $1500 per annum, no public servant in Kenya should get more than $4500 per month, all in in Kenya. Is that unreasonable? Capping it at effectively 36X what the average Kenyan earns? Because no one is saying you need to come to the public sector if that is not enough for you, go make more in the private sector. Then we benchmark all job groups on that saying something like every $250 salary difference is a new job group. Simple. Imagine paying billions, to hire a commission, who's job it is, to set out millions for others, who control the billions, that the commission gets paid. Tell me that commission won't have a built-in conflict of interest? Some of these things are so easy to solve, but you only see the solution, when the intention in your heart is pure. When what you really want to see is a fast growing Kenyan economy, pulling people out of poverty rapidly, because that is the bona fide ideology in your heart. But when you don't have that in your heart, for real then of course the obvious solutions won't be apparent to you. Why? Your sub-conscious knows the true intentions of your conscience. So, it works to produce ideas aligned with that. You can't fool it. That's why they don't see obvious solutions to some of these problems. They're not genuinely in the business of solving them to begin with.

The family ALWAYS says "he died doing what s/he loved" which is a lame excuse! But it costs around $80,000 minimum for sherpas to bring a dead climber down from Mt. Everest, it takes 8 to 10 sherpas to do it and most families can't afford that so they rationalize by saying "leave him or her there." It is horrifying to me to consider falling down into a crevasse and dying there because no one will risk saving you, or just losing your step and falling thousands of feet down to your death, or being covered by an avalanche or hit in the head and killed by a piece of ice serac, or dying from HAPE or HACE, or losing your fingers, toes and maybe part of your nose to frost-bite --simply holds no appeal to me; life is too precious!

I mean this inadvertently shows that human beings have free will
@mjleger45556 ай бұрын
@@WizWarekhwa NO one has "free will" when they are dead. It is the family who decides whether to leave the body on Mt. Everest or not, and most cannot afford what the sherpas charge to retrieve a body in the Death Zone.

The memorial rock cairns to the deceased rise to silently mock the still taller mountain on which these climbers took their chances and died… Too many are the number thereof who’ve had the coin, but not the capacity, to reach a summit as a “bucket list” vacation; taking with them the worthy lives of Sherpa and the occasional tour guide /adventure trip service owner… A mighty mountain as a trophy, as a Lamborghini, as a yacht, as another mansion, as a new job title, as a new suit or necklace or glossy cover photo…

There's no institution on this planet which is holy. Think about Jesus twelve disciples... Judas Iscariot . What about Peter who denied him , Thomas who didn't believe . Fr Luciano is not the first and last . There's no human being who is special in front Satan except Jesus Christ. We all live by God's grace and mercy like Saul who later became Paul.

@@nichasius I doubt anyone disputes your description of CK's character. However, note the key words " acting erratically"... from what I've read about the death zone is that the extreme altitude poses significant challenges to climbers due to decreased oxygen levels, which can lead to altitude sickness, hypoxia, and other life-threatening conditions. If one is not using oxygen, the brain cells are slowly dying. Remember CK had refused the use of supplemental oxygen and was not his usual self hence the allegations.
