I thought this would have been a much better film, with a different lead actor - really didn't care for the dude. Turns out, he's actually the writer, which I suppose, explains how he got the part! Overall, a fair review though - average, and very derivative, especially the opening SN, DN creepy Grandpa scene at the start. It's weird that the opening feels almost shot for shot like the opening of Terrifier 3 though,.which it can't have "ripped off", per se. But honestly, I'll watch anything with Caroline Williams in it: she's always top notch value for money, and I wish she was doing more films.

I shall vicariously enjoy these movies through you, appreciate the content, will definently watch at least the 25 days of horror Christmas

First Black Christmas movie from 1974 is one of my favorite horror movies of all time. Definitely in my top 5. Love that it was filmed in Toronto, mainly at the University Of Toronto campus. Haven't seen either of the remakes.

One of my favorites.

I'm marathoning a ton of horror franchises with my brother atm and watching this one right after the first one is not recommended. The amount of footage from the first one is nuts. However once that ends, good heavens the acting is worth it. My brother could not stop laughing everytime Eric Freeman says a line, "it's like he's trying to be as goofy as he possibly can"

I watched this film years ago and really enjoyed it since it has some nice kills like the wood chipper kill, also it's a lot better than the sequels we got. But yeah as you said it barely has anything to do with the OG film

Carly, you are so freaking gorgeous, and you are all about the horror scene, so of course everyone would absolutely love to see you on the big screen. As someone who's done not the acting thing but the music/performance thang for like 2 decades now, I would highly recommend if the camera crew can do so, shoot each shot like 100 times for a while. That's how I did with some "live performances" with some of the bands I was in. Yeah, it was still live, but after running through it 60 or 70 times you feel a comfort and naturalness you most definitely doh't during the first few takes, and it all looks and feels so natural in a way where it's like ooh this crew gets it. Yeah, the editor will be annoyed having to go through terabytes of data to piece the movie together, but that'll also be good practice for that person lol. I hope nothing but the best for you. I would be so very happy to see you make it big even though you gots no idea who I am. You got this!

This is a really cool idea reviewing some spooky books and comparing them to their movie counterparts! Now that I think about it, I'm kinda surprised they didn't make more book adaptations of the major slashers. At least I don't ever recall seeing any Nightmare on Elm St. books at Barns & Noble lol.

Awesome haul. I don't remember much about From Dusk Till Dawn 3 other the prequel aspect. I kind of like 2 for the crazy camera work. Hellbound is my personal favorite Hellraiser but the first one is a close second. You can't beat the first two. They have a certain grimey feel that the rest of the franchise doesn't have at all. I do enjoy 3 and 4 but anything after that I can't get into.
