in my observations buddhists loves routines, where is playfulness in that??
@BuddhismReflectionsPodcast3 ай бұрын
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! Buddhists may seem to value routines for the discipline and mindfulness they bring, but playfulness is not absent in their practice. Playfulness often manifests through mindfulness, where even routine tasks are approached with curiosity and joy. In traditions like Zen, the use of koans, humor, and paradoxes introduces an element of spontaneity and lightness, helping practitioners break free from rigid thinking. While discipline is crucial in Buddhism, many teachings emphasize not taking oneself too seriously, fostering a balance where joy and playfulness coexist with structured practice.

@@BuddhismReflectionsPodcast hooray very glad some1 like you replied its just i am getting old i am 29..life isnputting too much on me that i am slowly loosing my life's enthuism, . some of my friends say i am boring eating only fruits most of time etc..i even feel bored about myself😂😂😂

Hey, first of all, thank you for the kind words! And believe me, you’re definitely not "getting old" at 29! Life does pile a lot on us sometimes, but losing enthusiasm doesn’t mean you’re stuck forever. It’s totally normal to feel down or a bit bored with yourself now and then-especially when you feel like you’re not fitting in with others. As for your friends teasing you about eating healthy, that’s just their perspective, but you’re actually taking care of yourself, which is a great thing! Everyone’s path is different, and being "boring" is subjective. Maybe it's time to shake things up a little-try something new, even small changes, like exploring a hobby or just doing something spontaneous. Sometimes, all it takes is one fun moment to reignite that enthusiasm for life. You're not stuck-you're just in transition, and that’s okay. Keep going, and don’t be too hard on yourself!

Attachments to people? Your relationships are the most important thing in life. Don't run from suffering.
@danwesson24855 ай бұрын
I think you missed it. If someone you love, does not want you, let it go.
@chascline80245 ай бұрын
@danwesson2485 no. I have heard it many times from the Buddhist. Have no attachments to any one or anything. Look into it.
@chascline80245 ай бұрын
That sounded rude. I meant to look into for yourself. Not in a condescending way. Sorry
