Brotherhood was an amazing show. And Hohenheim was a tragic npc. So tormented with survivors guilt. His speech to his dead wife was beautiful and heartbreaking. Damn my sweaty eyes😭

I would make that as some spoiler ending for the modern warfare series. One last soldier lives and dies as the last tf 141 member.

I used many of the same words about wanting to live to my own wife's urn. It's hard to think of a better ending to an anime. A shame they released another episode.

Wait so if the story continues after this ending and if it’s mostly going to be about him, then is Edward just going to be like his dad or something? Or like his mom? Since he grew up with his mom when his dad left him?

It's odd I'm sad that despite finally reuniting with his children after all these years he now can't see them grow or meet his future grandchildren. But at the same time I'm so happy he has found peace with his past and is released from his burden and suffering he even got to die next to the love of his life this was just so bittersweet.

I lost my dad to covid during 2020. His lungs were shredding and he had to go through a lot. I could tell he was in pain but i didn't want him to go. My dad tried saying goodbye but his voice was to muffled by a breathing tube for him to say anything. Later i found out he made some questionable financial decisions that have made my life and my moms life a nightmare after he was gone and out of grief i hated him for it. Me and my mom about a few months later started watching anime so we could bond since i didn't get a chance to that with dad. We watched fmab soon after we started watching anime together and when hoenheims motives and love for his family was shown yet he had made very questionable decisions and mistakes it reminded me of my dad. In a way this show gave me closure due to the fact that though dads make mistakes most will try their hardest to make up for him. Im just sad my dad never got his chance Rest in peace Hoenheim Rest in peace dad

I kinda hate how no one acknowledged his heroism in the end. Not even his sons who saw what he did and the military. This bugs me a lot because this man is the OG protagonist of FMBA.

The reason I don't feel sad about this is because it felt like he achieved everything and it's time to move on. So instead of feeling sad you just feel happy and proud for him that it's all over.

Ms Arakawa went out of her way to make majority of these characters westerners and did lots of research and deliberately named them western and euro names , , , ,so they finally do live action movie with , , , , all Asian actors 😮 a few years before America moviehouse does a white washed live action "Ghost in the Shell" movie 🙄🤔🤔

What was the name of the song playing when hohenheim was speaking to Trisha?
@Mlynoph10 ай бұрын
I was saddened by Hohenheim's death, but knowing he was content gave me some comfort. But what really made me bawl my eyes out was the scene just before this one, where Major Armstrong thanks Hohenheim for his sons, but Hohenheim gets overwhelmed because he knows he can't continue to be the father that he always wanted to be for them. He doesn't have much time left, and even though he wants to be free, he is left with the realization that he has something to live for, which is his sons. Its so tragic and yet still it was so beautifully written. Hohenhiem is definitely my favorite character and this show deserves to be a pillar in animation.

after his death, I can see him opening his eyes and being greeted by Truth at the gate. Truth tells him how he's lived a life full of experiences, fulfillment and even corrected some of what made him feel like a Villain. That his efforts have not gone unnoticed and all the despair he felt in his life, although not necessary, will be rewarded with peaceful afterlife with his loved ones... For Hohenheim, the gate opens behind him, but the arms that reach out are not the ones we normally see, but the arms of Tricia!!!... but that's just my way of making his "happy" ending happier lol
