I just bought this today for $13 and change from target. All I want this thing to do is give me a 1/2 inch army style hair cut a couple of times a year. All I want to know is if it will last me more than a couple of hair cuts, and if it will do the job when it is actually working.

Mine didn't work properly the very first time i uesd it but let's hope yours is better. And yes it'll definitely give you a military style fade

I figured out why people have problems. Got one a week or two ago and it's completely different. The little plastic part that holds the spring doesn't screw into the blade but into the actual body of the machine. Mine has three holes in the machine for a screw and yours only has two.

I got the vgr 003 for $22 and it was perfect, I just put the onyx blades on it, I don't think it can get better, my clicks are perfect too

For the 1858 i would say lence pro fade blade. I just ordered one for my 1858. So i would try that. It should hit good just make sure if you order from Ali to check the reviews out before you order it.

You have to change the black arm piece that actually moves the blades back and forth. Had the same problem with the surprent. Everything works except for that part of the blade.

Always have the cutter blade slightly down from the still. When the 2 are level it will cut the skin.. Never have the 2 blades level .

Is it possible that the Jucai PRO trimmer blade you put on is not a FX7072, but it is a JUCAI PRO FX707Z? The FX7072 is imposible to find. Can you check it with a magnifier or a macro camera shot?
