This is ironically exactly what had happened to me on the last semester, lost all connection with everyone around, my girlfriend left me because I wasn't spending enough time time with her, my sleeping schedule got messed up, mental healthy going down hill. Everything only got better when I realized how suck it would be to be in this kind of situation. I changed my mindset, I took every spare time that I have to spend with my loving friend, calling for my family more, doing more activity outside of studying like exercise, meeting new friends and sometime even playing video game with them. My gpa is not at the top any more but I feel like I can see some butterfly now in my life.

Amazing video. I do not have the time to write a true objective rating, but this was the first thing that popped up just as I was about to break my youtube fast (of 3 hours lol) and it resonated with me. I've been focusing a lot lately on understanding that "Winning" doesn't mean getting good grades, it means enjoying life. However, it is true that good grades can lead to a good life. I understand this. Last year I was all locked-in, not many hobbies really. This year I haven't been as locked in, but took the time to develop relationships with friends and my brother. Lately, I have done neither. The stress of the balance between the two (enjoyment and hard work), especially when I base much of my happiness on achieving goals, led me to an addiction to my phone, youtube, brawl stars (it's bad haha). In the past month, time has flown by because I've been basically fast-forwarding life by spending 5-6 hours a day scrolling brain rot or playing meaningless video games. The worst part is that I don't have many friends that truly support me in this. For some time I was fine with their degradation of me because it was "motivating", but I've found the truly motivation is uplifting. So, I thank this video for so accurately showing how these two forces clash, even if I don't relate to all of it. Finally, some questions, if you don't mind: -How/where do you set limits on how hard you work / how much you indulge? Where is the line? -Is this video representative of what you have gone through? For how long did you deal with this stress? Sorry for the rambling, this is probably not well organized. I feel a lot better just saying this stuff though. Thank you, bro.🥰
