Some good memories. Hard to recognise some with the blurry pics though.

In the early 1970's, I used to drink in the Crescent which was under the Silver Blades skating rink. I also drank in the Vaults Bar at the bottom of the Alexandra Hotel, the Chaplin Bar at the top of the Alexandra Hotel and the Manville Arms on Great Horton Street. I used to go in the Frog and Toad Night Club too.

Now that was Bradford, next video about curry houses

Celebrations of the pubs and the Tetley brewery in Bradford still one picture missing of a pub that was nearby my old Victorian school 1971 it was still there across the penny bank especially just like the Hong Kong riots similar orange march protestants and Catholics creating riots just like Hong Kong

The Bavaria. Gang walked in and announced the people had ten minutes to drink up and get out; then it was going to be torched. They were very accommodating, they were back in twenty minutes, then it was burnt to the ground. The Red Lion at Four Lane Ends. Every window smashed, repaired and smashed again. Three times, then no-one will take it on to run it. Boarded up now. Somebody wants it for something else. Similar at Round Thorn just below on Thornton Road, but it's still managing to keep going. The pub at 6:36 and 12:48 was the Fiddlers Three in Clayton. I worked there from 1999-2006. It is now a nursery. There were a few of my regular haunts featured most of which are long gone. I've also worked at the Marshfields and The Old Vic. My parents met in The Peel and had their wedding reception at The Black Swan on Thornton Road.

Sad to see The Branch Hotel being pulled down.

Didn't see any photos of the Golden Cockerell in town, Prince of Orange Shelf, Kings Head Halifax Road, Craven Heifer Bankfoot

more people drive vehicles no jukebox no pool table who wants to have a drink in a watering hole to see people eat food plastic mash frozen sausage cost of beer fussy landlords is there a pub a working man can chill in after work in his work clothes or do i have to buy crappy food with a 3£ cup of coffee in a pub for this no i go to shop chill at home with you tube jukebox and mates in a nice place
