Oh, yes, Rivenspire was by a lot better than Stormhaven. And now im recording my adventures in early Alik'r - thats a good zone in terms of storyline too. Sidequests rocks right from the start.

Oh, for sure. Thats a good way to feel the game and decide if you want to dive deeper. But to be honest, best scenario's Ive seen in this game are in DLC's and recent chapters. From the point of base game Aldmeri Dominion plot is 6/10 while current plot for Daggerfall Covenant is 3/10 at best.

Wdym? I dont craft potions for overland questing, I just use common one's. Alchemy profession is 50, of course.

Hi. Im an ESO player only for 6 months, but I have a lot of experience in other MMO's since 2000. Real answer to your question depends on your playstyle and in-game goals. If you more of a casual type, doing social content (dungeons, trials) from time to time, I would recommend to start with a base game, do the story, craft some gear, gather a small hoard of resources and polish that rust on your ESO skills. After that you can buy DLC with both in-game gold (tricky, long, but possible) or with crowns ($$). If you like to do end-game content (trial on veteran, hardmodes, achievements) or you're collector/furnisher type, you should take out your wallet and buy Gold Road chapter. Should you return to game at all? Yes. Its good and has LOTS of content. But you also should consider, that ESO isnt playable without ESO+ subscription.

Well, first of all, thats not the same people. Thats two absolutely different studios in two different countries. Second, the game this big is not possible without bugs. You can believe me, as Im a developer with 24 years of experience. Reaction time to bugs in ESO is much faster than in FO76. Third, you can advise is this game worth of our money at all or not, but the final decision still will be ours and ours only. Im really enjoying this game every day to a degree when I want to share this expierence to my not-so-large auditory and to those who will join it later.
