Congratulations William, glad you won despite all the constant raiding of your food caches from that marten! My question is, what went into the decision not to bring a bow into the competition? I see that you are no stranger to hunting moose and big game, and we all saw that getting them was quite possible on Season 11.

I looked at a map and noticed you were close (ish) to a settlement. Did boats ever come up the river? Did you see anyone?

I just want to say one thing for sure-Williams you're done with the big show your next big gig is because I've been a subscriber for so long here with you is you have to do a recipe book get it published and get it out there how you prepare food is awesome

William, we were proud Canadians watching you during the season. You not only survived, you thrived. I'm sure you were very happy to see your family and go home but you were awesome to watch. QQQ: Unlike the others didn’t have a fire in your shelter and you looked like you had a lighter jacket and work gloves. The others were cold and you seemed comfortable. Was it because you were acclimatized to the cold, or was your location warmer? It sounded like your sleeping bag was warmer. Do you think that your shelter was also better insulated and warmer?

Amazing season I felt like recently the style of how people survive was not as interesting as the first seasons for while but I got to stay you and timber made this one interesting my mind has been changed!

William sir is was a pleasure to watch you thrive in the arctic, your working knowledge and bushcraft is outstanding. But your calm, level, positive attitude was the cherry on top. Congratulations!

My mom used to turn on the gas stove and burn the leftover tiny hairs and the feather stumps were more visible to pluck. Do you do that as a final cleanup of the duck? Then a final wash and dry

Congrats on your big win and greetings from a fellow Labradorian. In this video you question whether your snaring of a beaver may have been a first. I asked my father whether this had been done before and he assured me that it had, and added that it was the preferred method for a clever beaver that has learned to “strike-up your trap”. Still takes tremendous skill! Fantastic job on snaring a beaver and on winning the game!

How delicious is that. Mmm I came to Canada 30 years ago and grew up in Danube Delta by the Black Sea. Back there we eat fish heads too, we make soup and stew and eat the fish off the bone like you do. Nothing more delicious. My Canadian husband told me I was disgusting eating fish head … I love watching these beautiful moments you captured. Thank you.
