I have that exact same oil catch can and I had to modify it a lot more than that to make it work. It’s also installed to the wrong spot of the PCV system.

I bet you're going to wonder, why that catch can never fills with oil... Maybe you should research on the airflow of the PCV system first

That's interesting how you refilled the oil, NOT through the oil cap opening, but by removing the other cap near by!

You have to put one hose in pcv valve and other hose in the valve air part you got 1/2 parts right and the other points block off…

I've been using water as a coolant for years now , can i top up with antifreeze or first flush the cooling system?

I would suggest flushing the cooling system, and then fill it with a 50/50 mix. Or buy the pre mixed coolant.

That’s a wrong oil for that car either u put 10w40, 5w40, 5w30 Not 15W40 it’s too thick for that Motor

Since this car has some higher mileage we've decided to go with the 15w40, the car is also garaged so does not get that cold even on a winter night. You recommendations would also work though.

2mm usually does the trick, if it's something way heavier go 4mm

I see you did not replace the fuel filter, any specific reason for this? And if you pre-fill the oil filter with oil how do you replace the filter without spilling all the oil out as it is fitted upside down. Thanks for a good video.

just from a youtube consumer point of view. your video have potential, but you see to miss out on filming alot of the work you have done. the "this took place off camera" is off putting. rather film to much and not use it then not enough to complete a story. Im a fellow na MX5 owner myself and also want to do a roll bar and turbo. and al you know here in SA import dutys etc are far to high. any way i am liking the channel wish there was more content with more detail. even if its a simple mod and video that already exist on every Miata/MX5 channel out there. you are local and an easy punt to the MX5 club.
