Hi, your videos are amazing, and you always seem to be in such a good mood. It makes me smile, too! We came across your videos while planning a trip to Thailand for next year. My wife and I love Thailand and have visited there many times. We’ve never ridden a scooter there, but after watching your videos, we’re thinking that maybe we could give it a try. What is your favorite location in Thailand? Do you have any tips for renting a scooter and riding it? What’s the current price range for rentals? As a pedestrian, the traffic has often seemed chaotic. 😅 Cheers from Finland! P.S. Chang is our favorite beer!

Thank you for your kind comment we’re glad you enjoy the videos and we can give you a smile. Good luck with the planning for your trip we hope you have an amazing time. Riding the scooter is ok when the traffic is not so busy, most of the Islands are good to ride around. When you are in traffic the only thing we suggest is to take your time, keep to the left and if you are unsure about the traffic flow find and follow someone that looks local 😀. Always wear a helmet though. Bike hire varies on the location. We try to hire a mid sized bike usually a Honda PCX so that we can fit the both of us on it comfortably. They range in price from 300 baht to 500 baht per day if you want to let us know where you are going to maybe we can put you in touch with some good hire places. Our second Koh Chang video is coming up this week Thank you again for your support Rob and Shaz 🙏🙏

@robshaztravels
@robshaztravels 12 күн бұрын
Thanks Dean. Glad you enjoyed the video. To go up and down the coast you can get the train which is the easiest. There is also a local bus as well here is a link to check out www.thailandee.com/en/transportation-thailand/bus/buses-from-hua-hin-to-cha-am#transporttype-bus But around town they have a Songtaew which is the Ute that you can jump in the back of and between 20-50 baht depending on how far you want to go you can jump on and off wherever you like. To go out to the Wat Mongkol you would either have to go on a tour or hire a driver for the day. Hope that helps and we hope you have a great time 🙏

Ten years ago, after ten years of holidays in Phuket, Bangkok, Pattaya etc etc I discovered hua hin and the north (another wonderful place) and, to this day it is a fixed stop. It offers everything, absolutely everything, high quality food and accommodation facilities, markets and nightlife as you can see in the video, without losing the authentic Thai character but above all, without having to endure pitiful scenes of drunk and indecent mass tourists. I love HH

Hua Hin is a vibrant place with lots to do outside the typical bar scene, although there are bars in various locations around the city, Soi 80, Soi 94 & Soi Bintabaht, to name the most popular. Sure, it's a bit more relaxed than other more boisterous places, which only adds to its charm. Just a few clicks south are some of the best beaches, temples, caves, and places to explore with activities that don't involve getting drunk, although you can do that if you wish, but you'd be seriously missing out.

@@tiffanyha7831 Hi Tiffany glad you have enjoyed the video. Koh Lanta for me was a great place to learn as the streets are relatively quiet compared to Phuket or Pattaya and the roads are flat so no massive hills like Koh Chang or Koh Samui I think you should be ok I would ride there again Just stick to the left and if anyone wants to go around you they can Indicate early and check that no one is going to ride up the inside of you when you turn and if need be just follow a local that’s always the easiest way to learn how the traffic flows :) Good luck and have an amazing time in Koh Lanta I think we will be going back again early next year cos wr love it so much:) Try and get to the Elephant sanctuary we have done a video on that if you would like to check it out More than happy to answer any questions you have to try and make your first time the best time :)

Good question Khao Lak has amazing beaches but not a whole lot to do for the kids, there are some things like mini golf and bamboo rafting Phuket has amazing beaches like Bang Tao, Kamala, Surin, Kata and Nai Han beach and there is so much to do with the kids but depending on the time of year that you go it can be very busy Krabi, not so nice beaches and some beautiful things to do Emerald pool, kayaking hot springs but is that what the kids will like :) If I was to take my kids I would probably go to Phuket as they have so much more things to do for the kids If it was just me and Rob going I would go back to Khao Lak because the beaches are amazing and it is such a relaxed place compared to Phuket I hope this helps :)
