can i ask, why was it not a problem that the light intensity decreased across the LED strios? is it because of the aluminium tape? - also great video love this, buy something similar for my project is around £100, but i'm doing it for £15!

I’ve watched so many videos and this showed me I can just do it with some wood, glue, and clamps for the most part. All available at my local Lowe’s who will pre cut so thank you for a simple way to do it. And for including how you set up your measurements and cuts! I feel a little more prepared now :)

I'm cutting out fake feature matches printing on heavy paper. Not real heavy. I'd say like double to triple weight photo paper. My imagery, like real feature matches is six wide matches but the heads are a persons head. Six small heads, the rest is gravy, but I'm going to do six layers of these to get that feature matchbook look. The match area only needs to be cut on the three outside edges, left right and bottom. I don't cut the matches into singles, I just cut the heads into singles from the neck up. Yes, having anything outside the head area matching the background of the inside of the matchbook, (It's a real matchbook with no matches in it, but the subject of the matchbook is the USF Dons basketball team, probably printed in the 1960's.) would be better than what i did, which was to have a black background around the heads...so, looking for the best tool and system for cutting around these heads to isolate them. I almost thought a dremel tool might work...

I've been wanting to try the Katniss Cowl ever since I saw it in the movie!!! Now, I've been crocheting for over 20 years, and I just haven't gotten around to it yet. More than that, I write patterns too, so I've been planning on making a written pattern for it, but I have been researching trying to find if there is a copywrite or trademark on that look. What I've been doing, is studing that image, and researching different stitches I could use to make it as close to the actual cowl as possible. The main difference is that I crochet, and I think the original cowl was knitted, but I need to look at it a couple of times more to determine that. I think you really did a great job! It does inspire me to create my own version of it! I want one that I can wear over a coat or jacket to provide extra warmth.

It would be faster if you used an old LCD screen (without LCD display), because it can distribute light well to all parts through plexiglass, white filters and plastic lenses. Tube discharge lamps can be replaced by LED strips. I tried it and it was done in an hour. The effect is the same.

Congrats on completing the animation! Having done animation for years as a kid (and not having enough patience), I'm looking forward to seeing the culmination of everyone's hard work. 7:59 After having a hard time figuring out how to start playing Solo RPGs, I started going through a guide of daily exercises this week. So I'm happily already taking my steps.

A long time ago my grandfather had to sell the family cow and when he traded it for three beans the witch threw the mail holder in for free. The beans didn't turn out well, but the mail holder has been shared by the family ever since.

Wow, this is great!! Really cool way to make it, and the ropes seem like a great way to recreate the collar. It would be really interesting to know how they did the original 🤔 The only point where my heart bled a little was you pushing yourself to the point of pain. I used to do that a lot with knitting and what I got from it is repetitive strain injury, 0/10 do not recommend 🙈 I hope the diversity of your projects help prevent that ☺Looking foward to watching more of your videos!

Doesn’t the rope make it very heavy?
@MakeForOthers Жыл бұрын
Hi! It is a bit heavier than a typical scarf, but didn't seem to affect the people that have worn it (for a few hours). A possible alternative could be flexible plastic toy tubes? Regardless, thanks for watching!
