It’s not nearly as intense as what is said about it online!! I lived really near Shepards Bush and most of my classmates lived in the student accommodations in the area, they all enjoyed it (especially having a small commute to classes). I would recommend living with roommates or in a community style place though, if it’s your first time living in London (I did live alone but I had spent some weeks getting accustomed to the area I would be living in before doing so)

If you're looking for other places to live, I would suggest any place that can easily link to the White City tube station, it's so close to the building and always busy so it's never felt unsafe to me. Other option is you can look at bus lines (I prefer to take the bus if I'm going somewhere daily)

@@desireewalker7331 I think it depends on the situation you're in. At the time, and for the work I was doing, as the only designer on the team, I don't think an unpaid internship would have made sense. But the stage of funding the startup is in makes a difference. For me it was in a field that I wasn't as familiar with and didn't know if I would continue in that industry beyond the internship, so it was a welcome challenge. But if it is an experience that allows me to deepen my knowledge about a field I'm certain about, a passion of mine, I might consider an unpaid internship IF there's potential for growth, full-time, and for a start-up especially, equity options. If it's just for portfolio, I would rather spend the time on personal projects or skill building at my own pace.

Since I’m moving out now I can share the prices! These were 1650-2000 range in Notting Hill and Holland Park. But it was 2022 and I’d say the markup on the same places I visited for this year is about +300 from when I was looking

@@cyand thanks for the response. Definitely didn’t want you to compromise your safety but the apartments you didn’t choose could have had prices. I understand not wanting to give the area but it makes it hard for people who watch these types of videos who hopefully aren’t nutjobs a better idea of what to expect so thanks for the reply. I don’t think they have gluten free only halls, but they definitely have gluten free options in almost every dining hall! I think one of the ones in West Campus is allergen specific (conscious)

I believe RISD have some merit based scholarships, and Brown does need based scholarships, so it depends on FAFSA in that case! For the joint program, most of the administration will be handled through Brown
