Brocade is what that type of fabric used on the seats is called. My '69 Fleetwood has woodgrain instead of the inlay your DeVille has but it looks like a lattice pattern inlay from here. Beautiful Caddy.

Yes, a beautiful car. The styling is amazing and the bubble top is pure genius. Is your left arm long enough to adjust the rear view mirror on the fender from the drivers seat? Or is it a two person project like what I used to have to do on my 59 El Camino?

The 60s especially the mid to late 60s cars were the last generation of quality materials and exceptional designs.

The public hated the ‘69 because the taillights exposed in the side view made potential buyers think they were getting gypped in length.

I, on the other hand, simply love the 1969 taillights. We don’t see this style taillight again on a Cadillac until 1977. And I love the 1977 taillights.

At 6-8 miles per gallon, it would be a pricey trip cost country. Still, if you could afford this, gas price shouldn’t be an issue.

I had a 1976 Century - little brother to the more posh Regal. Aside from the badging and front grille it looked practically identical to a Regal. Vinyl interior, not cloth, and no AC. Had the 3.8L V6. Wasn't as posh as a Regal, but I did love that car. Finally had to retire it when the odometer ticked past 350,000 miles, engine and trans were both getting tired, and the body was giving out (New England car which meant lots of salt on the roads in winter). Didn't have the money at that time to put into restoration. Miss that car.

I had a 1976 Buick Regal Landau Coupe...but I think it was called a "sport". It wsa white with a very dark blue velour interior. 6 cylinder. I bought it in 1978 from a friend. Can you tell me if there was a sport version?

…a exquisitely conserved and preserved 1968 Imperial Crown Coupe …not many were ever produced in terms of Detroit corporate car making numbers …regarding these 1960’s Imperials it was unfortunate the back then commonly held practice was to “change” styling cues and details year to year for the sake of change …it would have perhaps better served Imperial sales and retained resale carry value if 1960’s Imperials had been more like the 1960’s Lincolns which held on to some main styling themes year after year from 1961 thru 1969 …1967 Imperial front end grille styling I think should have been more alike superb 1964 Imperials split grille front end styling and simply carried over for 1968 Imperial …happy to see this very nice Crown Coupe has been kept in as original & nice condition …a great pity so many of these mid 1960’s Imperials have been / were mindlessly gutted of interiors and had bodies wantonly mutilated heedless of what these rare Imperials are / were …to then be driven / smashed / crashed / trashed in demolition derby’s …sad to think how many worthy of being saved Imperials have been destroyed and turned into piles of throw away demolition derby scrap …sadly this ignorant intently done demolition of 1960’s Imperials has continued to take place and be done post 2000, 2010 & 2015 and is still being done in 2022 …so many Crown Coupes and LeBarons senselessly now destroyed …

My parents bought one of these , same color combo but ours had leather interior. It was bought in June 76 , to replace their 1970 Buick Sport wagon..both had 350V8,s. It was built in Flint Mi and was a great car....they replaced it in 82 with a Kcar to save money on gas.. but I really missed the Buick. I got my license on the Buick and the car, model means something to me.

I wished these were for sale. My wife and I went to dealer to see cars. My '66 300 is not practical for her. She grew up with GM station wagon and would drive this beauty. Plymouth once had a Satellite SW, smaller. I would buy that. 318 easy maintain for her. I wished I could get one... Thanks for posting.
