£8:75 per adult . Why? Over £20 for a family of 4. Why?

My last visit was in 1996 so I'm due another visit 🙂 North Devon is just the best place!

I love Clovelly but don't believe it's right that they charge £8 to park up by the visitors centre and then get charged again to ride in the Land Rovers that drive to and from the harbour if you don't want to walk it. Beautiful place but unfortunately it's a bit of a tourist trap and something of a rip off imo.

Brilliant. Love Clovelly. I could visit every week if I lived closer.

Visited this place during spring of 2015. Stopped to listen to a lady play the violin. Chatted with a guy herding his mule and an elderly gentleman smoking his pipe outside a brightly painted home. Various stops for scones, ice cream, cakes... lovely place! 😊

Clovelly probably the most beautiful fishing village I’ve seen

I climbed down them steps last week agony, but it was a wonderful experience

My mother and father brought me here when I was a child, we walked the cobbled streets and visited the island. I don’t remember it as well as I’d like to, but I remember stepping on a wasp and getting stung! It hasn’t tainted the wonderful memories though.

Once this is all over I will visit that village! First saw it at Sherpa's channel.

Lovely place visited 2 weeks ago. The only thing is lot of people could not believe how much it was to get in over £7 pounds I person.

My partner and I would love to visit again soon, we stayed for the herring festival last year, and had a great time.. We traveled down from Wiltshire, but still have a few herrings in the freezer we should eat first though!

First visited Clovelly in the mid 60's, I could walk up the hill quite quickly then. Can't even walk down the hill now.
