I like it, especially the Rage version. But the normal version is to much copy from the original comic design. It don’t fit with the advanced Suit Logo

A lot of people were expecting the Black Suit to basically just look like a black version of the Advanced Suit, so they really threw a curve ball at us by making it look more like the classic version. Once they showed it, it became my favorite Black Suit of all time. The fact that it looks more classic being a huge surprise as well as its' moving textures really sold me on it.

I feel like if they instead made the goo alien parts of the suit the same "armor" material as the rest of the suit I would have used it more

I kinda disagree. The white patches are nice, yes, but they're beyond stupid when you realise peter doesn't utilise them? He still uses his normal web shooters, which somehow now have black webs? But at the same time, can be affected by EMPs? (In one cutscene where spidey gets ambushed by a shield enemy while going to the church to find kraven, his web shooters go offline for a few seconds, which would make no sense if the symbiote is providing the webs) Another major factor is the boots. They're just horrendous, do I even need to explain myself here 💀

To say it’s the greatest is bit of a stretch. My top 3 are 1. 90s TAS Black Suit 2. Spider Man 3 game Black Suit 3. Ultimate Spider Man Shattered Dimension And the Symbiote Suit is so iconic that they never truly can switch the spider rib cage logo on it tho the Raimi Black Suit was a fresh take on it and in the game versions even better. Now Insomniac black suit was definitely much better in the final product than the initial reveal and definitely grew with a few people tho it isn’t the best black suit. This version only grew on me as this spider man relies heavily on tendril strength while every other Symbiote spider man has a massive boost in Pure Strength it’s why they mostly don’t need the tendrils it’s also why I prefer other Symbiote spider men over this one. The Insomniac Black suit does a bit too much immediately you can see the armoured sections and then the alive section on the legs, biceps and neck these parts is what ruins the suit for alot of people immediately and I agree as it didn’t need to look like this at stage 1 already it’s why the second stage the Symbiote surge suit looks much better as it retains only the alive and goo parts. The best way to compare the Symbiote suits is In the Symbiote Peter boss fight if you glitch Peter to fight Peter you can compare the suits and looking at it side by side the Classic Black Suit looks so much better it’s insane, the bigger classic logo really helps as well as the bright white spots on the hands and bright white eyes those features aren’t as easy to see on the Insomanic black suit as the other sections literally take your eyes off from it and it’s again probably what throws most people off, but yeah I’d say the Classic Black suit will always be the best variation it’s way too Iconic and changing it is pretty difficult it’s also why Insomniac kept the classic logo as it’s so damm popular.

I'm telling you, who wants to listen. There's no combo skill tree, no symb.button switch, no new neutral dodge animations...but yet, MJ is playable? Someone should not be sitting at that table. Let me Elaborate. The 3 games are perfect i plat. Now that they improved the physics on new gen combat and swinging, even better. But they cannot keep gettin away with the 4x square combo. PLEASE INSOMNIAC I CANNOT ANYMORE IT'S BEEN A TRILOGY. AIR COMBAT IS NOT ENOUGH. THEY REALLY GOT AWAY WITH IT 3 TIMES AS A FAN THIS IS A CRY FOR HELP WHY IS NO ONE SAYING ANYTHING ABOUT THIS. It is cause most of the fans 14 and easily amazed by bright colors? They already got away with it now.

This suit is really great. But the non-armored segments look very weird and off, and the logo looks a bit thin and skinny for me, but yea I do like it. But what I will say, this is the best black suit for edits

This suit is the best Insomniac designed suit. It has the perfect colour scheme and logos and it makes it feel alive but also like an exosuit. It sort of looks like those black aliens from those movies. The eyes seeping into the mask is an awesome detail that no one brings up but I really like. It makes the eyes look like they’re sculpted into the mask instead of on the mask.

I wished they didn't change the swinging. Glad the sequel fixes that by adding the swing steering assist

Tomorrow is gonna be a year since they revealed the gameplay & black suit. I love that black suit! I remember when we were waiting for how the suit will look & it was exactly what I was hoping for. A classic design, but added with a LOT of alien details.

The combat reminds me of Assassin's Creed 3 up to Rogue, as when Spider-Man attacks, the camera shakes like how it does in the Assassin's Creed games, and noticing how grounded it was like Batman Arkham.

For anyone judging the wolverine leaks its not a fair representation of the final game ... i stopped watching after a few mins as its not worth ruining the game as i will be buying it no doubt

God I really like E3 2017 version of the game and the art style they went so far, it’s probably my favorite version. The color grading, more stylised UI, shiny suit, brutal strikes and more weighty animations for both combat and swinging just makes it much more realistic and filmic.

I like the web-swining and combat hear much beter then in the final game...
