I learned this song today (October 23 2024)

Crazy to think I first saw this song when I was in primary school and now I’m graduating from secondary school😭😭

Married now for 10 years and this song has been “Our SONG” since the get go. “Make it last” has been our reminder quote, tattooed on both our necks, to never give up on each other. “MIL”

This brings memories back to when I was at Pebble Preschool in Mercer Island. Still listening to it 😢

The first time I heard this song, I thought, Wow, I didn't know Janis Joplin did this. The way Jewel sneaks up on this tune is just masterful genius, and by the time she hits "time, time is our friend.." it's full on feral Janis, and that's no back-handed compliment. Jewel absolutely owns this song.
