I think that in the daylight it’s a important to stay safe and go slow in your lane. At night you can go a little faster if you can hear other vehicles on the gravel echoing through the hills otherwise rely on headlights and try to get in your lane. Cap Forest is notorious for years for rich kids from Delphi rd and surrounding areas to go rally in while drinking.

Full disclosure on what happened here - Yes this footage is all from 1 attempt. Yes the guy I killed was in fact the same person that got away the first time. Also while attempting to unload the hadi in my own MSR, it glitched and wouldn't create a box for me.. SO I only had what I could hold in the pembroke. Upon this time the owner actually showed back up in a titan i think. Which was the combat footage .... a lot more desync and a lag spike and I was dead after colliding with the planet? I think? Anyway - wake up at Grim, run to Leria to clear my CS. Didn't make it 100 yds from ship before a bounty hunter found me. /end of story basically. But man. that was SO fun! Once you know how to make money, and don't assume pirate/bad guy game loops will yield cash, it becomes so engaging & rewarding. If there are any pirate groups out there looking for another player Find me in game! Same name!

It's a forest management road, speed limit is 25 by state law. If all the vehicles would stick to that, no drama. The roads are for getting from place to place, save the hot dogging for the trails. For now, unlicensed dirt bikes with ORV tags and spark arrestors are allowed on the Capitol Forest roads. That is a special accommodation and could change if there are problems, especially if the logging contractors complain.
@lynnpoint63954 жыл бұрын
(My friend is posting this comment) I've been a forester working around the world but mostly in WA, OR, ID and MT since 1984. People sometimes ask me isn't it dangerous and aren't I afraid of bears, coyotes, cougars, rattlesnakes, bunnies, poison oak, hypothermia, getting stuck, getting lost, etc., etc. I'm aware of the slight risk associated with these elements but the most dangerous thing I do is drive the freeway corridors to where I'm going to be working. But in the past 10 years I've wondered if Interstate 5 is being replaced as Danger #1 in comparison to the increase in recreational drivers of all sorts. I've begun to have too many close encounters with drivers on forest roads who are not able to hang to their side of the road during approaches, and driving way too fast...whether in trucks, jeeps, humvees, ATV's and motorcycles. I can't tell if either of the parties in this video are moving at an excessive speed, but 25 mph is a reasonable speed to have but not exceed, on most good forest roads.
@jdaniels13134 жыл бұрын
Yellow Hummer guy saw you, and did his best to give you half the road, or slightly more. Since you and your nephew were riding on your normal half, this turned into a non-event. Watch at 1/4 speed to see some of this. My take is that he decided that you guys were on your half of the road and not in his intended path, and decided to prioritize staying in his lane over applying brakes. Him slamming on brakes could lead to a skid/loss of control and possible sideways skid into your path) He did also slow down by the time he got to the 2nd rider, nearly coming to a stop. I can't for sure tell if his speed was excessive. Keep in mind that perceived speed, at the camera is additive between your speed and his speed, meaning if you were going 25mph and he was going 35mph, the effective speed the camera would see is 60mph. Yes, clearly, anyone doing 60mph on that road is loco, but he was somewhere in the 30's, tops. All things considered, you guys were in your lane, he made sure he was in his lane, just glad nobody got hurt.
@bobwerner10333 жыл бұрын
Your an idiot !! Did you not see the vehicle slide around the corner that his nephew came around ? He was doing over 30 mph easily but listening to you try to justify him doing that speed is a very clear indication that your a complete idiot.

What trail were you riding to get to the road? I'd like to try it out. I'll typically run the forest roads from the Bordeaux side D-4000 up and around. I haven't experienced this yet but I'd be pissed too. I spoke with the host at the Waddell Creek Campground yesterday and he told me he's been run off the servcie roads more than once by people drifting around corners. He said it's safer to stay on the trails. A-holes everywhere.....
