Incredible work ! I am so moved and inspired! I've havenever heard her name til today in july 2024! What a strong vision with heart! I saw a powerful exhibit in Colombia on the Black Panthers and I now know who the photographer behind the images is. Thank YOU for sharing this. A blessing for me today!! I live in Bisbee, AZ home of the Buffalo Solider Camp NACO at long last recognized. There is so much history and the humanity at the heart of the stories. Thank you Ruth Marion Baruch and the Black Panthers for your work for human rights..

Kudos to this couple.. it's really a plus point when you share both same interest with your partner to become productive to your advocacies.

I really like the narration and the whole idea of this video. However, I would like to see more photographs and not so much of your face. Nothing against your face, but it's a photography video. Show photographs.

I found this in an old World of Art book on my mother’s old shelf. The words moved me to tears right away. I think we can all relate to that feeling of lost love. I like how you related it to your parents. Great analysis.

I took Suda's photography 1 and 2 classes while I was teaching at Grossmont College, and she was a generous and very pleasant teacher. Cheers, Suda! We have yet to get ourselves over to Balboa Park to see the exhibition, looking forward to it.

What an inspiring talk! I loved learning all about Suda's personal history, as well as the conceptual underpinnings of her work and her creative and technical process. And how wonderful to see and hear about her connection to MOPA from the very beginning.

Interesting video, thank you for sharing it. I.-The so-called “ banana solution ” (the name being derived from its odor) which is used in applying bronzes of various kinds, is usually a mixture of equal parts of amyl acetate, acetone, and benzine, with just enough pyroxyline dissolved therein to give it body. (...) The thin covering of pyroxyline that is left after the evaporation of the liquid protects the bronze from the air (...). From 1907 Henley's 20th Century Book of Recipes.

Most likely the picture of the white and black girls at the lunch counter was staged. Who would sit there and photographed ? Besides that, even then, a black person or anyone would sit a seat or two away. Even now, no matter the color or gender I would give the other person space and choose another seat if available. I don't want to sit right beside someone I don't know. It was staged.

Thank you for putting this video up! As a teacher of beginner photography (grade 10/11), this is the perfect quick introduction to the principles of design. My students will be able to stay focused for the length of the video (2 minutes isn't too much to ask!), and the fact that you included examples to illustrate each of the principles will allow them to begin to understand the concepts.
