Un magnifico complesso strumentale per un’opera armonicamente meravigliosa. Per Amburgo l’acqua era essenziale per la sua gloria e Telemann ha cesellato quest’opera meravigliosa ( forse superiore alla musica di Haendel)

I often have found a difference in energy with musicians who stand rather than sit; the freedom is even more profound when you have memorized the score and don’t need to watch the stand. I applaud the approach here; I can’t say for sure it’s impacting the energy, but it doesn’t seem to hurt. Boy has Tafelmusik grown up over the years. Their new album featuring this symphony is great.
