Brilliant montage!! Really shows the speed of Group B. For me, this Peugeot is the greatest rally car ever. Compact,light,drivable,fast and just looked... right! 😋

The most beautiful Group B car. How it resembled the street models and what a successful marketing operation of Peugeot with the victory in World Rally Championship for constructors and drivers in years 85 and 86. Although it was a prototype, it's always said that it didn't have a screw in relation to front-wheel drive street model and it's not entirely true. Its engine belonged to PSA group XU engine family (XU8T version). Chassis was designed from a 3-door 205 body with the rear half cut away and a rear subframe welded to it where the engine, gearbox and rear and central differentials and most of the mechanical elements associated with the engine (turbo, intercoolers, etc...), thus the wheelbase was not the same as the front engine models as well as the width of both axles. Suspensions were different both (rear and the front), as well as the bottom of the car and of course 4WD transmission.
