You do not need to take off dash panel..you go from underneath, behind, one torx screw removes ignition switch

I’m having the same problems right now. Can you send me a list of things you replaced and tested you ran after each part replacement? And what test did the dealership have to do?

tecnically no part replaced to fix the issue. first time it happened due to weak battery. after replacing the battery dealer had to do relearn procedure. second time it was because one of the wire rubbed to the front drive shaft and broke off. after patching the wire we had to take it back to the dealer to get it reprogrammed again.

I have a 2013 MKS Lincoln my radio has no sound, on the dash next to the speedometer the information says the sound is turned off. I've tried a hard reset on the car and also reset everything to factory setting's. I'll try this next! Thanks for the video! Well done!

Have one acting similarly to this one, sounds like the problem described in the video but the wire in the relay isn't causing the starter to attempt to turn... Does that mean it's the starter rather than the switch?

Thank you so much. I've been crying all day because I just bought my 2011 murano 2 months ago and first the ac went out all of a sudden while I was using it, then this knocking noise started happening days after that and is getting worse. Thanks for the video! I just bought an non-running Enclave that had the sunroof stuck open (actuator corrosion). Now that I've fixed the sunroof; actuator, drains, and all gutted & dried-out, I'm about to see why it doesn't start.

Mine is 1.8L I changed the purge valve running better yet it still sometimes out of the blue it’ll blow a puff of smoke and lose power… which has been a problem since buying it. Yet the codes changed to a p0300 for misfire, yet before investing money, I’d like to see if this code will go away after finding true problem. Can I ask what’s your thoughts?

Thanks for the video. I did timing belt replacement and also replaced valve cover Gasket at the same time. I didn't install valve cover Gasket properly and it let air in causing P0171 code. Once I resit valve cover Gasket properly, the issue went away. I used incese stick smoke to find where the Gasket was letting air in.

I had watched several videos on how to tackle this job with several videos suggesting different methods. I soaked the exhaust bolts in pb blaster the day before and decided to go with exhaust removal version. Everything went smooth, all exhuast bolts came out without issue. job took me 2.5 hours and im no mechanic. I could see exhaust bolts getting stuck being a real pain but if they come off with ease, id do it this way again.

All those below who say you don't have to remove the exhaust are talking rubbish. I have a 2003 E320 & it is impossible to get access to the top engine mount bolt because of the exhaust manifold. This is the best way to change engine mounts on a V6 engine & this guy is absolutely correct!!!!!

I got p0171 today too, without any mecanic problem.. only and high idle when I start the engine.. I think could ve the purge valve..

Because I don't have leaks on the pcv valve, no oil leaks..

@@francisadu-gyamfijr2322 bro no dealer too much money what I'm saying is that about two months ago I had someone drop off a 2013 bmw 328 Ix drive no Star and it was like a Christmas 🎄 decorated on the dash every warning light was on, after checking every fuse and relay I end up going under the car to check the ground wire,and it was intact but when I put.my finger on it it broke in half so I I replaced it with the new one and everything is fine with that car to this day, that may not fix your issue but it's not a expensive part to replace give it a try and good luck to you...

I have a Lincoln MKS 2011 I tried to hook up, subwoofers in an amp and everything was working fine and then I cut the REM cable to rewire it through a different spot and now my radio and buttons don’t work. The digital screen turns on, but only reads Lincoln THX. does anyone know what that might be. The radio buttons on the steering wheel don’t work but the lower part of the center dash AC unit works perfectly fine. The top half just stopped working after I cut that cable. Does anyone know what that might be?
