Meir Park is miles away from there, between Meir and Blythe Bridge. This is Parkhall Country Park.

This is Parkhall, reclaimed sand quarry. Gasometer recently demolished. Anchor Road and Longton.

Hi Barney. Thank you for your comment, I ain't uploaded anything for awhile due to a few family issues. But all being better now I intend to get some more up. I am now using a 4k drone, I am sorry to hear you no longer fly, I hope you are able to in future.

Hi Chris, sorry it's a very late reply, however yes it was taken with a drone it was the phantom vision 2 plus. But I now own a newer drone with 4k but have not yet uploaded any videos to my tube, but I will get some up soon and get it all updated. Cheers for the comment.

Fantastic footage Ken. I was born in Deanwood place 1962 and know the area very well. Meir was a great place to live in them days. 👍👍

Some houses have been face lifted, and there are a few new builds especially where the thorley pub used to stand, but the majority of the place is still the same.

It's actually Adderley Green, Sandford hill and Parkhall Country park. I've spent many years enjoying the area. The video is quite mesmerising and brilliant to see the area from up above, thankyou.
