Are those 1 1/2” or 2” pipes? I have the same track, took the zerk off and compressed the idler to push the grease out. The back track slips off every single time I almost get the front on. 2 days and tried everything. Put it on the ground and tried walking it back on with a crow bar. Tried putting it in the idler and using the pipes to get it on the back sprocket. Nothing worked. Seems like a god awful and flawed design

So I’m in the market for an excavator about this size. I’ve narrowed it down to either a Bobcat E35, this machine or Kymron’s XH42 equivalent. It looks like the same basic machine as this. There’s things I like about this better. It seems like you do a better job with hose management on the dipper stick. They aren’t popping out everywhere like the Kymron. The other thing you do better is you offer a pattern Control selector and I’m a backhoe guy. There’s really 3 things I’d have to address either from the dealer or me fixing myself. I just don’t know if it’s possible. 1) The main thing is I need a thumb that hinges with the bucket because I’m gonna be picking up lots of brush. And I need a beefier thumb on par with the name brand machines. While I appreciate that these come with thumbs, I’m gonna be really using mine so something made out of 3/4 inch or 1 inch steel is a must. Do you plan on working to get a better quality thumb maybe as an upgrade? Possibly a thumb control on a joystick switch instead of a floor pedal? If not, what do you think about someone fabbing their own beefy thumb? I’m a welder so I can build one but what about getting longer pins to run through the same pivot as the bucket? Are they standard size pins that I can maybe get at a name brand dealer? 2) Do you think if I were to install an aftermarket suspension seat, if that would raise the seat hight up too much? I’m 5’ 10”. I realize you offer the SH36 with this feature but I need to keep my cab height no taller than 8’ 3”. 3) Third is, does this model have a cup holder anywhere? Such a simple question but Kymron won’t even give me an honest yes or no answer. And if “no”, do you see a place anywhere in this cab where I can mount a simple screw down cup holder? I can’t drive to see this machine so I have to rely on dealer info and every video I see seems to show as little can footage as possible. If not, I’m kinda forced to go with a Bobcat, Sany, Kubota, Case. Any name brand that I can go in and see. At this price I’m not expecting it to be on that level. But I’d like to know I can upgrade that stuff myself with a little work. Especially since I have the ability to weld and fabricate. I’m not great with electrical stuff so Im not sure if adding a thumb switch on a joystick is gonna be possible.
@groundhogequipment10 күн бұрын
Thanks for reaching out! We do offer a beefy thumb bucket, We are working to offer more thumb options for our machines but nothing else yet. You can fabricate something fairly easy, while the pins are not widely available but can be purchased through us or online. We can do joystick thumb controls. If you were to install a higher seat you'd have about 6-10 inches of room to work with. It does not have a cup holder but I recommend a suction mounted cupholder.

@@groundhogequipment Hey, thanks for taking the time to answer my questions. That’s a huge factor for me. So just to make sure, if I wanted to order a pin that’s longer in length than what’s standard, you’d be able to do that? If so, that’s great. I’d just use the thumb that comes with the machine while I fabricate a new thumb that hinges to the bucket pin. Then just slide that longer pin in to accommodate the wider thumb.

I'm absolutely amazed that people are paying this kind of money for chinese crap. With only a 1 year warranty. And you get the privilege of changing the parts out yourself. I guess the old addage of a sucker is born everyday is still alive and well.

We don't think of it that way. We work with our partners to bring a stronger machine to the US market with a warranty, US based support and we keep almost all parts in stock. We're also here to support the chinese excavators owners as well with parts, attachments, and service.

Great video. I couldn't remember how mine was tied down when it got delivered other than he used chains around the frame and the boom was strapped down. I wondered how to best tie down if I used straps. There is a guy in Florida that sells a drive motor protection bar where you can install a D ring to tie down with. I have seen videos where new owners back the minis off and dang near flip over backwards then attack when told how dangerous it is. I load boom low and extended in front of me and turn with boom tucked in close so to unload with boom low and extended in front of me. Right or wrong that's how I have not flipped yet.

These are just rebranded products from China. Gonna be a little more difficult selling these for such high prices when Derette and other factories are doubling down on their US/international sales directly from the factory. Why would I pay $22,900 for something I can direct customize via the factory in the same time frame (if not quicker) and have delivered to my door for $10,000 cheaper? Crazy you posted this today, do you not keep up with the mini skid Facebook groups?
