He said it in front of a black audience. Probable trying to make a point.

THE BEST SOLO GOSPEL ARTIST EVERRR... J MOSS!! This man CAN SING, and the choir sounds sooo wonderful!! Honestly, he let them down easy and didn't hit those super highs like he usually does but overall, most high & Christ for this awesome song.

This song blesses me just as much in 2024 as it did when I first bought the CD years ago. I met this young man on the One Love Cruise back on 2007. He was so nice. What a beautiful spirit!

He's literally saying to not vote based on r4ce, but to vote based on skills and who's better for the job. Of courses leftists are offended by this, I wonder why 😂

I'm a linguist and English teacher. You're doing linguistic gymnastics here trying to frame this in a way that's clearly dishonest on your part, a common trait among Trump cultists. Race is the main context of the statement, as it's the first thing mentioned. Skills are the secondary context. He's clearly implying (to anyone with a brain, honest, or who didn't skip English class), that the black president screwed up and the white president did well, hence the white choice is the better choice if you want someone with skills. If you were bright, you would have chosen to argue the usual "Liberals are taking this out of context. We didn't hear what was said before or after." That's a dishonest and ridiculous argument too, but not quite as obvious to everybody as BS as this comment of yours is. Also, when you say "He's 'literally' saying," it shows how much of a deficit you have in English skills. You don't know what "literally" means. If he literally said that, he would have LITERALLY said "Don't vote based on race, vote based on skills and who's better for the job." He didn't "literally" say that in YOUR argument. He implied that in YOUR argument. This is called pragmatics, when something is said but not literally said (it's implied), and where you then have to explain what was said to people who can't read between the lines and who need something literally said to understand it. Semantics is when something is literally said, and this was not semantics in both your argument and mine. We're both stating he implied something, and you're explaining to others what was implied, while I'm explaining to you what was implied. That's the opposite of literal. If he had literally said that, you wouldn't have had to break it down and explain. You had to do this because you felt that something was implied and people weren't getting what was implied. Go back to school MAGA. You haven't even come close to mastering your own language while you cry about immigrants not learning English, and take every other MAGA with you because this lack of intelligence is exactly why this 34-time felon is about to be in office ruining our country beyond repair.

@@cjhandly6159 All of that talking just to discover that I'm a french dude living in France 😂 A quick view of my profile and you'd have realised that in less than 10 seconds. Just like you'd have realised that this clip has been croped on purpose to keep just one sentence out of its context. That summarizes quite well your critical thinking skills. A teacher, you said? Ouch. N.B.: Yes, the white president does a better job. Does that offend you? Got race issues?
