My Sister and I were there the other day. We walked up to the Ocean hotel and casino. The Boardwalk is changing a little at a time, for the better. Need more hotels and casinos to compete with Vegas.

I miss the way the boardwalk used to be. We can see the ocean from the boardwalk. Now, we can only see the sand dunes.

Had the NBA territorial draft ended one year earlier,Atlantic City may today be Dubai West. In the last year of that draft,the Knicks drafted Bill Bradley,who went to become a NJ Senator,who in 1992 passed a bill limiting sports betting to Nevada.As a result,Vegas gets back on its feet and AC slowly diminishes.If NJ had sports betting in the 1990's,the money would have been enough to rebuild the slums and would have kept Trump there.

Really good pictures and videos. Ive been wanting this camera for some time. I realise it has a small sensor so on max zoom or certain lighting it might not look so good but there is no other modern bridge camera with this kind of zoom. Which is crazy when you think about it. Does it still hold up even 4 years after its release?

Thank you for your comments. I bought this camera a little over a year ago. A fellow hiker [Nikon P900] and a bird watcher [Nikon P1000] showed me the insane distance reach of these two Nikon bridge cameras. I went with the "newer" and lighter Nikon P950 instead of the P900 and the P1000. The camera handles just fine under ideal conditions. Both tracking and focusing on fast-moving subjects will be a challenge. If you mount this camera on a tripod for stationary subjects, it will handle just fine even with the tiny sensor. I still take it out for bird watching from time to time. It's my go-to camera when I need to reach out far and get the shots.

@softnest I've also opted for this over my original choice - P1000. I had a Panasonic Lumix FZ82 before. Great camera but aged and only 24x zoom 🙂

Would have been better if you could have included the camera settings for each photo. First few noisy/grainy, not sure if I'm hallucinating without being high or my eyes are.

When it's sunny, raise the shutter speed and keep the ISO at 100 to 200 and you can get sharp photos with the camera. I always shoot in RAW + JPEG fomat so I can do post production (sharpen if needed). For videos, make sure stablization is turned on and try to hold the camera as steady as possible. It's not easy when it's zoom all the way to 2000mm. Good luck.

Love how realistic the colours are and the quality is near sharp like how good eyesight would portray. Should be receiving this make of camera soon, so these images are telling me ' this is the quality you can expect', and i am liking it. 😄

Hold it steady or use a tripod if possible. For photos & videos, I like to keep it at ISO 100. I also shoot most of the photos and video in manual, aperture or shutter priority depending on the situation. You know this camera's sensor is extremely small so good lighting, stationery scenes and objects are your best friends. When the lighting is not ideal, use a tripod and shoot in manual & keep the ISO as low as possible.

Outstanding capture of the fall colors! The circular polarizing filter works great even in cloudy conditions. The Luminar Neo editing program is a great tool for photographers. Looking forward to seeing more videos!

Great video. The polarizer really brings out the colors of nature. I'm trading in my P900 for the P950 as the P950 has the RAW and 4K video. I also use Luminar Neo. Best editor out there. Keep the videos coming!

How long does the battery last if you make video in 4K ? And would 128gb card enough for 2 hours of video on 4K ?

Sorry. I never tested how long the battery last recording videos in 4K. Most of the video clips I recorded never lasted more than 5 minutes.

Why can't they raise the Boarwalk 12' so ppl can see the ocean? Then Casinos can have an entrance on the 2nd floor from the Boardwalk.
