Actually, Tom Conte's character appeals PERFECTLY to us gals that really appreciate movies that don't have a lot of gratuitous s**uality!

Personally, I give it 3 and 1/2 stars out of four (if four is going to be our measure)

Vince, great review. This was one of my favourite movies from childhood. And just watching it again some 30 years later, I noticed some of the things you mentioned but learned a lot more from your review. You are a great reviewer. And I was SO disappointed, this movie was so superficial and not deep or meaningful. It was funny and a cheap thrill, but not deep or substantial I guess

Thanks for reviewing this. My friends made this film for about $200k and was a NY Times Critics Pick (developed from a short film and financed in large part by Producer Kyle Martin). We were all just thrilled that the feature actually came to fruition.

According to Nimoy shortly after Wrath of Kahn was first shown he was invited to Paramount to discuss doing another Star Trek movie. He discussed it in the Captain's Summit in 1991 I believe.
