First heard this music when the Horsemen were flying at the RI ANG Air Show (F8F Bearcats & F7F Tigercat) last year. Horner's score blended beautifully with their aerial display. Really appreciated his work here and on several motion picture scores. He will be missed...

Listened to the ST2 and Field of Dreams soundtracks yesterday, pure 100% class, is the Horseman music available on CD?

I don't know if James Horner ever got to fly to his score, but he's flying to it now, unencumbered by time and space. Farewell to the 4th Horseman.

We are so very blessed that the music of James Horner will live on, But to realize there will be no more new music, is deeply heartbreaking and seems so unreal. "Goodbye and Godspeed" RIP James Horner Thank you for creating the soundtrack of my life and all of the many countless hours of beautiful music

In a similar style like "The Rocketeer", James Horner wrote an amazing score not for a film. I consider this a really "concert music". Sadly, a very underrated composer in the present day (his rejected scores from "The Ender's Game" and "Romeo & Juliet") because of his habitual self references and the famous "parabara" motif. But, what composer has not done?, even Beethoven and Mozart did that. In the movie music world, composers like Williams, Rozsa and Goldsmith did that too. You're great, James Horner!

Some of Horner's best scores were for moments of magical flight onscreen (Star Trek II "Enterprise Leaving Drydock", Rocketeer "Take-off", Krull "Ride of the Firemares", etc.) This piece stands right up there with his best. Great work.

James Horner is the best composer ever. I am surprised of his secret hobby of flying. I loved this video.
