Nicely done! It looks realistic. I like your errors-and-all approach to filming your work, especially since you show how it all comes good in the end. The lights at the halt give it a terrific atmosphere.
@TezTurner6 күн бұрын
Thanks I think if I can show the mistakes then it might help others not to repeat mine and shows that it’s ok to make mistakes and they can be sorted as for the light they do just give that effect purely by accident

Hey Tez. Great work. Can I ask where you got the flexible walling from please? There’s an area on my layout that needs flexible walling but I can’t find any that look good. Thanks
@TezTurner6 күн бұрын
Hi the walling is made by using wills stone walling sheet cut to height boned together then the top stones are made by using plastic channel with the individual blocks gaps filled in as for bending it I put notches in the plan side of the wall on both then warm it up and bond them together while holding the shape you want then fit the top edgings hop this helps

Hey Tez, loving your videos so far, you're doing a really great job of telling a story in your videos whilst showing what you're doing which is really important! Some channels talk and and don't show and it infuriates me! I want to see! You've got that perfect mix of story telling, showing me what you're doing, telling me you're ideas and showing final products or displaying the finished work! It's perfect :) I've made a few videos myself and I know how hard it is to film yourself, what you're doing, record voice over AND edit all that together! Really great job! <3

@@TezTurner I know I've already seen. Love them. As much as I want to see the whole layout, keep the ambiguity, I never know what I'll see next! It's a great film makers trick used by the likes of Quentin Tarantino. But they're your videos! You do what you like :)

I've just stumbled across your channel and have watched this with my grandson(12). He's really enjoyed watching this video as he's building a 009-layout, which he's filming for his Dylington Model Railway channel, which also includes footage of our OO layout. He likes the look you've created with the scenics as he's hoping to create something similar himself. Anyway, we've jumped onboard to follow your progress....cheers James and Dylan 🙂👍

This was a very interesting way of fitting the point motor first and then fitting the track after....it makes it so much easier to feed the throw wire through the point, rather than working from under the base board as I have always done, having said that I am talking about a large fixed base board, still if its possible this is so much easier.
@TezTurnerАй бұрын
Thanks yes it was easier to do it this way but the the rest of my boards are fixed so it will be overhead.
