One of the best sequels to a game that I randomly bought one day after highschool on a Friday at be worlds I’m old so so much content for such a great game

I recently started playing timesplitters 2 again after all three of the gams got added to the Playstation catalogue on PS5 and I could have sworn that the free aiming on the game was a lot better than it actually is. I used to play this game (and future perfect) a load when I was younger so perhaps I was just hardened to it when I was a kid but its SO frustrating to try and use free aiming on anything other than the sniper rifles (to me, at least). They're amazing games, and I would urge anybody to at least try them, but my god that aiming system was horrible, lol.

my brother and i have so many memories of playing 2 v 10 bots, setting all the bots to snowmen and then triggering the "I'm melting" sound clip for like 30 minutes straight w/ flamethrowers while laughing our adolescent heads off

The TS trilogy recently dropped on PS+. So far, has been the personal best gaming experience this year .. the leap from game to game is staggering.

This retrospective on TSFP reminded me of the joy of coming home after school and booting up our ps2 and me and my brother with a few friends would play this for hours on friday nights. kinda awesome that they lied about making a TS fortnite clone just to get funding ngl, at least rewind isn't some abandoned project but I wish I had the capability to help them in someway but I've never dont any art or animation before and I feel mildly bad about it .-.

My favorite FPS of all time, and easily in my top 5 games period. Gameplay, story, multiplayer, music- everything is still amazing to this day. Well, maybe not the vehicles, they're a little jank, but that's small potatoes in the grand scheme. I still play through it every year alongside several other games from my childhood. A timeless classic by any means.

so much fk memories with this, I even many times saw the walkthrough because it was too hard for me as a little kid. TS Future Perfect, TS2 And TS3, so good games. and multiplayer was so messy but fun

my friends and I played hundreds of hours in timesplitters 2 multiplayer....and then we tried future perfect and it just didnt deliver the same way. the game was was prolly better all around but the multiplayer just felt off pace like you ran to slow....its hard to remember now maybe it was too fast but either way it just didnt have the same chaotic enjoyment

I don't know if it is this timesplitters but shake that moneymaker is forever stiched into the back of my mind from playing it with my sister.

I used to pick this up from blockbuster all the time, this was mine and my friends go to split screen shooter for a while.

You can see the difference in the generations. His dad let him skip school for a shitty video game. My generation? That would NEVER happen. You're getting your ass beat and all electronics taken from you for a good minute if you were found skipping school let alone for a video game. No wonder gen z today are a bunch of pussies 😂

The problem with timesplitters rewind is that they are using generic 2024 style and graphics, not the original style.

I loved this game, everyone says TS2 was better but the first one I played was TS FP and I was excited to play TS1-2 to learn the story but tbh I was bored af with TS2 and didn't even bother with TS1. They were probably great games at the time but I loved the story and humor in FP. Playing TS 2 just felt like spawning in to a multiplayer map as a random character with no story kinda like like custom made maps in FP. So having Cortez not recognising Ash and things like that in FP is better IF your first game is FP and I think it would be much harder to get into otherwise. Pretty sure devs felt the same way about TS1-2 considering jump in quality and the fact that the game is not called Time Splitters 3.

For me, my expectations for Rewind is just about what I feel I deserve for a free fan-made project. It's really up to them how it turns out in the end, and even if it turns to nothing, it's been nice to be excited for something for a while. That said, it's clear to me that there are harrowing challenges ahead for the team, even if they manage to fulfill a full release, and I hope that will be received well by the fandom itself. It saddens me, mainly, how mismanaged the franchise has been from a production standpoint. It feels like publishers just don't want to top the sheer arcadey scope of what Timesplitters had on offer. Not to mention it specialized in couch split-screen multiplayer shooting action, something we just don't see anymore, given how expanded online has become. I'm very grateful for the detailed video summary of one of my favorite games, thanks for putting in the work and effort!

The soundtrack of this game was so awesome. The Mexico Storylevel soundtrack ❤ Also I loved to play the virus mode on the snowy asteroid level in Multiplayer. Waiting till all npcs were infected then made a last stand on the big plattform😊

It was one of je best feeling forst person shooters of the time. The speed and freedom of movement and the aoming was an amazing feel. Really good single player deathmatch with bots.

I loved everything about this game. The story, weapons, challenges, charact rosters, modes, map maker, bots and custom rules and weapon drop tables was awesome. Brick only head shots only was my favorite way to mess around.

I remember late night sleep overs playing this with my buddy on that brick, the Xbox.
