Dear Professor, thank you for the clear series of lectures. In practice, does the formula for depth resolution account for Nyquist sampling? For example, for 830 nm light source with a bandwidth of 50 nm sampled at 5000 data points would give a delta z value of 6.1 um, even though 2500 are -z and 2500 are +z values after FT? How does this change delta z with 2x zero padding? Thanks!
Hi Yasuno-san, this video is very informative. I totally agree with you. I will show this video to my students. I am Myeong Jin by the way:)

I already gave two of totally five lectures, and the video is available on this playlist kzbin.info/aero/PL38KibqB_aSATnTfh_ehcsSG00IUMIlQq The lecture is given every Wednesday, so upcoming videos will be available on Thursday or Friday. Three more lectures are given. I hope this is educative for 1st or 2nd year OCT beginners.
