Your customer service approach all made sense when you said you were in the hotel industry. You've completely carried over so many of those principles into your car dealing business. It's like you realized you have a very similar product to a lot of people. But what they don't have is your attention to detail and your attention to customer service. This is really going to make you so successful! Thank you for sharing. I genuinely mean that. Thank you so much for sharing all of this advice. 👍

What do you normally use to do wheels and tires. I’ve been on breakbuster but it’s expensive. I’ve heard of people using G&S and super clean. Would love a video of breaking down your chemicals that you use for a dirty vehicle and a maintenance vehicle. With the way you do things. You’re real so many KZbinrs with BS content that try to push products so they can get paid.
@HustleHarderThanTheNext10 ай бұрын
Bro I used to use SuperClean every day 🤦🏽♂️ after using my current cleaner, never going back. Not sure SuperClean is the most safe option but as I was struggling early on, I was trying to save every penny. Even at full strength, SuperClean has its times where it will let you down. Generally if you use SuperClean, you have to agitate every part of the wheels surface to get good results. Cleaning 16 wheels a day sometimes makes this not ideal. NOT knocking superclean as a brand or product just stating my opinion on its wheel cleaning. Now I use Sudslab XA wheel cleaner. It’s more pricey but can be diluted pretty well (1:1 on moderate to dirty vehicles, 4:1 on easy maintenance), and generally doubles my speed of wheel cleaning. I mainly focus on agitating the wheel well, rim barrel, and tire wall. I will only agitate the face of the wheel if it’s very bad. You can just pressure wash the cleaner off and the finish will be near perfect every time. Not sure if this would solve the affordability though, I need to compare prices of brakebuster vs sudslab. I’m willing to spend on wheel cleaners cause I hate cleaning them😂

It’s a soft brush with a long handle. I would agree if it was a stiff scrub brush you find at home depot. This video is also sped up by 1.7x. Everything I do will appear more aggressive at this speed, I could tap the wheel arc with my finger and it will sound/look aggressive. I understand your point but if I were to clean this wheel again, I’d take the exact same approach, but I’m not dismissing your concern, perhaps a smaller brush would be useful. You should try an APC for those wheels it’s so much cheaper than the suds lab cleaner
@HustleHarderThanTheNext10 ай бұрын
When it comes to wheel cleaners I’m going to have a hard time replacing Sudslab. It requires minimal agitation and speeds me up significantly compared to APCs. I do a lot of ‘cost cutting’ in other areas of my business so I don’t mind spending a little bit more for something I can depend on. You can also dilute the sudslab wheel cleaner. They recommend as much as a 4:1 dilution ratio which provides a lot more longevity. I use 1:1 on very dirty wheels and get amazing results. I want to make clear that I’m not sponsored by sudslab just providing my own experience!
@davidkasparian381310 ай бұрын
@@HustleHarderThanTheNext 100% didn’t think of it that way. I’ll have to give it a try for my business too. I’ve seen it in Walmart and just didn’t think it was that good for the price. Cars are made to be water resistant so say you left the window or the door open while it was raining, nothing should happen to it. The components should be fine just as long as you don’t blast it with high pressure and don’t spray straight into the speaker guard. He did it right and kept the sprayer moving very quickly just to get light saturation

Just found your Chanel and I have to say I Love it 🙌🏽 I’m a new detailer, just decided to start my business back in September, and by November I was booking constant appointments back to back, I’ve learned SO MUCH because I only fill my KZbin with Detailing content and the Word of God nothing else, don’t got time for nothing else but grinding and staying focused 🤣🙌🏽 anyways brother to inform you a little more on rinse less wash, it’s said to be even safer then regular bucket and foam cannon washes, for moderately used cars such as the ones you showed here…even better, I’d highly recommend not only DIY details products but also their educational videos, they actually showcased their rinse less wash on a Veloster they drove down from I think Canada, car came out good and minimal water and effort, definitely a great way, safe way & cost effective way to go about those barely used maintenance washes. Highly would recommend giving it a try, at least in your personal vehicle until you get comfortable with it. I deal with heavily use daily drivers so for now that’s not an option for me 😅🙌🏽 but anyways man love the content so far, keep up the grind but don’t forget that time off with the family is just as important 🙌🏽.

Man detailers that clean areas that are already clean or claim that if you are not scrubbing you are not cleaning, I think sometimes they do more damage to the vehicles than what they are cleaning bc there is no reason to use a magic eraser on leather seat already cracked if you can clean it with a microfiber and move on you are good! I also have the same concept on my business try to move fast but still getting good results and that the customer love the results too! That’s it!! Keep going man! Blessings and all the success to your business.
@HustleHarderThanTheNext10 ай бұрын
Absolutely agree! I’m always considering the longevity of the vehicle, so I don’t want to repeatedly use cleaner on areas that don’t need it. Especially if I’m seeing this client every 28 days. This client also taught me to think this way! When I detailed his two previous cars 2 yrs ago I would take double the time (4-5hrs) that I took today with these 3 vehicles in the video. I was overly meticulous and it slowed me down too much. He told me straight up he isn’t that picky , just wants consistency. Now I’m much more experienced and am able to balance my approach with speed and effectiveness. I always think “Do things right the first time”💯 I appreciate your comment and wish you success🙏🏽

I purchased the SudsLab Zero Acid Wheel Cleaner based off of your videos and I absolutely love it. Tried it on my Equinox first as the wheels needed some cleaning bad. The way the brakes and rotors are dont allow the opportunity to clean the barrel with a speed brush but the cleaner attacked that brake dust and dirt down almost all on its own. Great product! . Question though, i brought the spray bottle from walmart and was wondering if it could be diluted? Great vid, keep grinding

Thank you for commenting! I LOVE SudsLab wheel cleaner and it’s something I will have a hard time moving on from! In a previous video (I forget which one) I mentioned that at walmart they sell the 32oz spray bottles. These spray bottles could not be opened or diluted. On amazon you can purchase the 64oz version and dilute it in your own spray bottle, I do half water & half cleaner. As I write this I checked Sudslabs’ amazon page and the 64oz wheel cleaner is unavailable- I believe this is temporary so keep an eye out!

Great series and great explanation on detailing! How are you polishing on your top tier package?
@HustleHarderThanTheNext11 ай бұрын
Thank you for commenting! For my Gold Package I use ‘Rupes Advanced’, it’s a 3-1 polish that corrects paint at a minor level, but does an AMAZING job restoring gloss and “filling” swirls. In addition it protects the vehicle for 6-12 months. I apply this using my Rupes DA polisher. The 3-1 polish can be applied very quickly compared to regular compound/finishing polishes, which is why I am still able to complete the engine bays and interiors within 5-7 hrs depending on vehicle size & condition. I promote this type of polish as a “affordable bandaid”- the clients who don’t want to pay for a full paint correction often choose the gold package. I always clarify to my clients that many of the swirls will return as the protection wares off. Actual paint correction is much more time consuming and results in a much higher quote.
