Singhada is commonly called water chestnut in English but botanically it is actually not the same plant. Water chestnuts have long and very slender reed-like leaves. Do check it out.

Water requirements? How often should we water these plants , i have one plant brought it online, after few days leaves turn yellow and falling off and new 3-4 leaves coming out and no further growth , then again process of leaves falling off continues , happened 3 times. What precautions should I take for healthy growth
