This is actually insanely impressive. Considering how hard this piece is to play on piano, I can't imagine how long it making this inside of minecraft. Well done sir.

You must've worked so tirelessly on this. Surprised loads of people haven't watched it. Kudos, cos it sounds as good as a CD recording.

This is a beatuiful rendition and I don't understand how you have so few likes after 9 months. There is however one suggestion I'd make to improve: Less prominent stereo. At some passages the wandering from left to right and right to left is extremely unpleasant when using headphones.
@johanninong6 ай бұрын
Well due to the placement of the noteblocks itself, since minecraft has directional audio, the only way to fix this is to convert the video to mono.
@LalzJeNeSuis6 ай бұрын
The version was quite clean ; can't really get the exact tempo, quarters and 1/8, but maybe we can do the Passacaglia modern version (from Kassia and so on), would be easier :p

What a terrible interpretation! Again, too mechanical!
@johanninong6 ай бұрын
Its a limitation of Minecraft itself. You may not like it at all.
@konradswart40696 ай бұрын
As a composition, nice! But as an interpretation, not so much! Too mechanical! I suggest: read the book: sweet anticipation of David Huron!

@konradswart40696 ай бұрын
Although this is a nice animation, the MIDI file should have been edited a lot more! At present, it sounds _way too mechanical!_ Just look at some Blender animations on my channel! Did you use the defected Animation Nodes midi plugin for this video? That would explain its very mechanical 'interpretation'.

The cloth one is just simulated once in this render The softbody ones took a lot of tries to get it right and fit into the hole and there is still a huge difference. The cloth is like slime that it doesn't bounce The softbody is like jelly that bounces a lot of polygons...

I say this with all of my heart, thanks for making this. I just found it, and I'm obsessed with it. It's so beautiful in its unique way; the swing tempo, the timbre of Minecraft's instruments, the small inaccuracies. You may not get many views, but believe me that you have made more than just my day. I'm so glad this exists. P.S. have you considered doing Chopin's Nocturne in C minor Op. 48 No. 1?
