Some of your meals are more like snacks and if you make too much of one meal just have leftovers the next day!

Breakfast is 😑 meh Lunch and dinner are 🤩 awesome The Japchae looks so colorful and healthy Japchae is one of the more healthier Korean food--much better than something like army stew which contains spam, ramen noodles and copious amounts of salt

➡ The rice cakes and the ramen noodles are way too much carbs for one single meal. The fish cakes are just meat. Mystery meat. Who knows what the fuck the manufacturer puts in there? The cabbages are okay, but seriously, only cabbages? Swap out the ramen noodles with carrots. More nutrition. Swap out the rice cakes for potatoes. They are both very starchy. Swap out the fish cakes for real fish fillets, not processed junk. ➡ Eating kimchi and pork over rice also lacks variety. ➡ The avocado on the avocado toast can do without salt at all. Avocadoes taste good by themselves. It's also healthier to limit your salt intake as much as possible, because if you eat out, then you can't control what you consume, and restaurant food or grocery store prepared foods will always add too much salt. ➡ The avocado toast could also make use of a slice of tomato and onion.

OMG! You're killing me with all these yummy Asian grocery store products. And the green onion in the avocado is brilliant!

CORN BREAD 😍

This person seems more into western/japanese/korean food more than chinese food. Sure, there is the xiaolongbao, and that counts as chinese but the company is bibigo (korean company) and the original title must have been steamed soup dumplings and then she translates that into xiaolongbao which is actually a term popularized by the famous din tai fung restaurant chain that is headquartered in the Republic of China (Taiwan). She is named Emily Lee with Lee as the surname. So, she is most likely Chinese or Korean, not Vietnamese or Japanese. There are Viets with Ly which is derived from the same Chinese character, and while it is possible that they may transliterate to Lee idiosyncratically, most Viets have come to America during or after the Vietnam War era, and thus would have more established romanization system. Japanese surnames are very distinguished from the East Asian bunch. However, she uses the term xiaolongbao to refer to soup dumplings, so I am guessing American with South Korean or Taiwanese family background.

oyakodon is ultimate comfort food during the winter and it's actually kind of embarrassing how often i crave it. usually the cravings switch between oyakodon, mapo tofu, or gyudon -- something about these textures over rice just hits 🤤
