That's one of my favorite hymns. But I have so many favorites. Your arrangement sounds similar to mine. However, I use mostly CGDGCD (Orkney) tuning. Your arrangement in standard tuning looks very difficult to me. I arrange some hymns in both tunings. I find it generally (not always) easier to keep the bass lines and melody flowing in CGDGCD tuning rather than EADGBE. Your playing style and touch are similar to mine. I enjoyed it sir. I wish I knew someone like you who lives in the Pensacola FL area to play guitars with. God bless.
