Yall using FanDuel to bet Laker player props just made me feel better about diving deep into heavily shorted Canadian Weed stocks. I've been watching old Lakers footage and James Worthy is so much better than Lebron the sh!t is crazy. I don't think people fully grasp the point of "the GOAT" debates, its not a hard concept to get but the entire point is to get you looking one way so you don't ever question if this guy is even better than Worthy, or Barkley, or Nique, or Duncan, or Shaq, or Joker, or Giannis...or Jay Huff (who had a +30 +/- tonight) Dude never did the "dirty work", his career 1 ORB a game average. He's literally just out there stacking up the stats bc the endgame here is to rewrite history, people think this is hurting his legacy, no its not, nobody will remember this just like some of yall give Kobe a pass for doing the EXACT SAME SH!T. There has never been anything worse for the sport of basketball, especially the NBA than those 2 + Steph.

If you ruin the original Top Gun for me... I get your point on wanting to see/judge for yourself in watching/rewatching potential military propaganda flicks, my worry would be about the possible subconscious sh!t going on within the film? Audio wise, symbolism/imagery wise? I've been "2008 guy", "I threw my TV away"-bro so its kinda funny, I have a TV now, but your "shots" at "that guy". I respect what you're saying, the other side to that is this "rotten milk" logic, like when someone smells rotten milk and they are standing right next to you and their first instinct is like "smell this"...I mean if we both know its rotten milk...then the fk do I want to smell it for? I did watch the NEW Top Gun though, because its TOP GUN...The energy field of Nostalgia resonates a protective vibratory state versus ANY level of MIC influence, the song Danger Zone alone. You ever notice, going back a couple years, a lot of set designs, backgrounds in scenes...even graffiti on a wall...trended in a blue-yellow direction? I was trying to check out AP Bio on Netflix recently, everything is BLUE and YELLOW...felt like over the last few years I was being subconsciously programmed to like light blue and yellow, werent the Denver Nuggets light blue and yellow at one point (2023 champs) and The Rams...(2022 champs). I dunno, I guess the big banana and blueberry lobby was working hard behind the scenes, I think I remember a bunch of people on Twitter or whatever it was called back then also posting like yellow in blue in their bio's, maybe it was for Pride Month or something

i understand someone not wanting to deal with some of the pernicious content that exists all over the place but at some point the "good guys" gotta step on the pedestal and be active in whats going on... like i like the idea that i can watch a movie, judge it honestly for not just its filmmaking quality but also if it has those propagandistic elements. i would want everyone to feel like they can honestly do that if film is something they actually enjoy... throwing the tv away has never been an option for me because i like film/tv too much and i want to point out the rotten milk

@@ArtIsDeadish Yeah its a job and its important to point out their BS. In a way its like journalism but for entertainment. And yall are good at it. I was just sharing the opinion from, "Guy looking to watch something" POV. Like I don't need to watch the DNC or GOP convention to decode their messaging and BS...and like I said before I'm also a little hesitant on possible subliminal nonsense they have going on. Like when I saw some of that opening Olympic ceremony, my brain and intuition was just like "Nah Yo..." like we know whats going on or being attempted I dont need to be a theologian or historian to understand someone is "playing games" right now, trying to use this sporting event to push "some-thing". All I'm saying is careful sometimes, those people are very good at doing what they do, and some of their programming might be hidden beyond just the story line or who is funding the movie. As far as I know there are no regulatory bodies making sure there arent EXTRA sh!t going on in these movies. It might've been before your time, but I remember when I was kid there was pushback against "Subliminal messages" in commercials, movies ect. That has completely faded away, all I know is if I had kids I'd never let them watch any "Illumination" film. Sucks that saying that outloud sounds so Q'ish..."Where one goes we ALL go brutherrrrrr!" or wtf those dopes say.

Based on the cover art and the movie title (which lead to 89% of my movie picks), this must be a prequel to the 2009 film "The Blindside". That giant hearted white lady adopts that struggling kid...? and helps him escape WW2 Germany so he can move to America and "Stop the Blitz" by becoming an All-Pro linemen for the Baltimore Ravens whose success was ironically centered around their DEFENSE. But I'm sure protecting Kyle Boller and future HOF'er Joe Flacco was equally important. Can we get some "preachy" movies about GMO's or some sh!t...or maybe noise pollution? I skipped through the Dynamo part...I just can't. (Fkn blowhard bloated DJ Akademics sounding NBA Fed Donnie Brasco azz mf) Ant nailed it though at like 47:00. You take out the bigs, the shot blocking, the violence at the rim, then you take away PG's who a lot of them had unique styles...and now you have these cookie cutter hybrid guards that just jack 3's at a mediocre 37%. So most of the "Art" IS gone. For the folks that were never actually intuned with that ART they don't know whats missing bc they just sort of bandwagoned into the game bc it became cool. It was never meant to be some global commercial product, just like Hip Hop...or "alternative rock" or wtf organic cultural (youth) thing that gets absorbed by (don't want to say "Capitalism " so bad and sound like some hack DemSoc) but Capital. I still love the game and can find the ART in the current NBA, its just not as obvious anymore. Love finding over achievers who are getting a chance, this year its Jay Huff, he's my new Joe Ingles. Love those throw back aggressive early 90's goons like on Houstons bench, Tari Eason and Cam Whitmore, and you have to love Stephen Adams. Said it 2 years ago Nembhard is a great PG to watch, that kid Suggs on Orlando is over achieving, the whole Orlando team cam be fun in stretches. Same with Portland. But these NBA KZbinrs like "Dynamo" don't gaf about things players like that, they are all in for the big "narratives", even using that term in sports is pathetic. Anyways, yall should do a react video to Hasan watching himself play basketball. I don't think I've ever seen such a combo of elite lack of self awareness mixed with the most overly try hardedness. Its like Stanley from The Office (basketball scene) meets kids who don't realize the Chappelle "Kobe" bit was mocking what a Chuck he was and they think it was like a Shout Out or something. Dude Hasan is like 6'3 230 and is going ALL OUT vs like other balding fat content creators and women shooting "gym bro" fade aways.

so when someone releases a movie right around the election and that movie is clearly trying to make trump look bad (probably worse than bad), it has nothing to do with the current political landscape?
@AREA-jp8vb
@AREA-jp8vb Ай бұрын
@ first off the movie was never supposed to come out now. It was supposed to come out months ago. But it was delayed like almost everything in Hollywood now. And second, it doesn’t make Trump look bad at all. I despise Trump and everything he stands for and I actually thought this movie humanized him. It didn’t make me change my mind about him, but I understood him a little better. This movie has nothing to do with politics. It only has to do with his relationship with his mentor Roy Cohen. Who is a fascinating person in American history. I’m interested to see what part of this movie you thought made Trump look “ probably worse than bad”? Because there was no new information in it. Honestly, I loved the movie, I’ve already watched it three times. It has great 80s nostalgia, and the acting was incredible. and whether I like or not, it showed Trumps perseverance and strive for success and to make something of himself. I also thought the scenes with his older brother were extremely heartbreaking and moving. And I know that art is subjective, and you’re entitled to your opinion on the movie. I don’t want to take that from you. I just think labelling it a political hack job will put people off both on the left and on the right. And that would be a shame because it is a great movie! the cinematography, the acting, the vibe of New York in the 80s. And the soundtrack!! And I think the relationship shown between Roy Cohen and Donald Trump is fascinating. Trump’s older brother was an addict and his father didn’t believe in him (or anyone for that matter, his dad was an ass) and he found a replacement for that in Roy Cohen. It really gives a better understanding as to who Trump is today and some of the things he says and does. As somebody who dislikes Trump and everything he stands for, what this movie did for me was allow me to see him outside of the political field, and especially during an election cycle were the only thing we see about Donald Trump is politics. It brought me back to view him as a man with emotions and insecurities just like the rest of us.

@@ArtIsDeadish I promise you I’m not trolling. I edited my other post to kind of explain more at the bottom. But yes, his wife did accuse him of that in her book that came out in the 90s. It’s not new news. They collected information from around the time that the movie was set and used it. But just cause they showed it in the movie doesn’t make it factual. Everybody knows that movies take creative liberty. If you watch this movie and think that every single word uttered and action that took place is real, then you have to be naïve.
