Whats the longest you can keep the boat docked in salt water before you need to pull it out of the water and flush the engines?

Thanks for the generator advice. Something I've been pondering for my View when I find the right one. Big advantage when the chassis fuel is the same.

Great video…question…..would you have gone bigger now that you have had it for a few trips? Also…is the stove water tank practical or more gimmicky?

I was so glad I found, even if it’s 3 yrs later. 😀Thank you, for your positive information. I just bought a 2010 24 J winnebago view , With 50,000 miles. We are getting ready to do our 1st real road trip to meet up with my son in Indiana to go camping. You made me laugh when you said u pick up friends with it. I have done the same thing & gone to beach to do our bible study. I also agree about body paint. Other than that my RV is in awesome condition. Again thank you.

Kudos to you to eat organic and not using a microwave! We are in the market for a View 2023. Two adults and 2 Boston Terriers!. Thank you for your informative details. You both confirmed a lot of what we thought in matter of manageability, ease to drive, parking, driving everywhere, etc... We are getting a diesel generator.

So after a few years....can we get an update on this video? Still using it/ any issues? Tips/tricks ideas that made it better. Im on the fence between a 12x14, vs the 14x16.
@blainemills9872 жыл бұрын
Get the bigger one. Especially if its a few guys. By the time you get cots and gear set up. Its better to have more room than not enough. IMO Thanks for watching

@@blainemills987 Thanks for that info....i was back on their website this week and they changed their sizing system....LOL....so that helped me along with your comment. Think i should go with the 14x 15 elk package now. I can always add a cook tent (14x10). Thanks for posting set up time solo. After doing more trips, did you find the set up to get faster/easier? Still on the fence because ive heard the set up and tear down on wall tents is a pain. But 2 hours for a week at camp would make for a comfortable camp IMO. I also think you sold me on the 2 additional windows and screen /colorado doors at both ends. Would you do anything different?

I saw you sold and mentioned grass intake. Do you think a trolling motor would've helped you any? Thanks :)
@blainemills9873 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching and commenting. I actually had a trolling motor on it but fishing in south Florida with the sargassum grass is nearly impossible with a jet. Good boat it just didn’t suit me for fishing. Fun family boat though. Have a great summer 🤙

Been looking at the FSH models. 2 things I haven't seen are: 1. Drains at each side of the stern area, to drain the deck of sea/lake water. 2. Can the engines be washed out with fresh water, and where is that hook up, if it has fresh water flushing? Thanks in advance for your help and response.
@blainemills9873 жыл бұрын
I’ve since sold the boat but you can flush the engines. The rear hatch opens to flush each engine. And I think there was one drain in center. Which doesn’t make sense but I’m no engineer. It just didn’t suit for me style of fishing. I couldn’t take the jets sucking up grass all the time. Hope this helps

Does the tower collapse down for storage in garage? Any videos on this available? thanks
@blainemills9873 жыл бұрын
Hi Thanks for watching and commenting. I’ve since sold the boat but you can take the tower off for storage. It takes about 30 minutes and I wouldn’t recommend doing it more than maybe once a year for winter storage. You have to unbolt it in two pieces. Hope this helps

Very nice Rig. The only thing I dislike is the generator not being on the driver's side. Less noise and exhaust away from the party-area side of the RV is a must.

Gentlemen: As someone who owns two Davis tents always get a larger tent. Having space for tables, cots, kitchen, and hunting gear/items will quickly consume smaller floor plans. I have a Davis from 2008 and 2015. Both are excellent and they handle storms in wilderness areas. One of tents went through our Labor Day storm at 7500 feet in Idaho during 2020 elk with snow, hail, high winds. Performance was usual: outstanding. If you are a newbie from back East to hunt big country out west just read these words: This tent is the best. Trust me! Do not invest in a cheap tent. Wasting your cash! Customer service is great and they are family owned and operated

I thought I would never consider a yamaha jet boat, but the family aspect is making me take a second look. How does she handle around the dock? I would be concerned about the loss of steerage under idle power. Also do you know the length on trailer?

Nice video my Friend. To be frank you Mentioned the Manufacturer way to many times. It felt like a Promo. You should have also noted that many folks should but a cover tarp or Rain Fly to help for a lone term placement. Sunforger is the best material I have seen. Also and key what was or is the weight per sq ft of the Canvas. That determines a key element in terms of quality in the long run. We are buying 16 total wall tents for a Glamping Resort, so we have taken a lot of time to compare Many tents. Good luck Hunting.

You didn't tell how the refrigerator runs off of Gas Propane electric what and do you have solar panels on your roof. I've looked at hundreds as RVs and yours is perfect for us and I know it would be perfect for me and my son. I don't want anyting bigger than this and it has all the room and everything we need for two people you have really impressed me with your video how much did you pay for this RV

I was wondering about solar also. You need an inverter and batteries. Thinking you can rig it so the alternator charges the batteries also. So much to think about!

You guys just made my mind that's what I want I think you said it was a 19 feet or 20 feet Travel RV and it's just me and my son and it would be perfect for us. I don't know if I could get used to that round stink but maybe I could but I love it I looked at Vans and I looked at RVs I've looked at everything for over 24 hours and you guys have made my mind up this is the thing that I want . I love everything about it and I like it because it's not too big and hard to drive . I'm a woman of 68 and my son is 30 something years old and I think it would be perfect so when I sell my house I'm going to look for one just like you have. I say a prayer for me because I have lung cancer and if I don't get over this I will not be going anywhere that hopefully to heaven. So thank you very much I dream is always to be traveling or living in the woods and this was one of my dreams to come true before I leave this earth thank you very much. And made the Lord God be with both of you all and your family and of course your dog we have a dog too. I lost my husband in 2006 from Agent Orange and now it's just me and my son

Thank you for sharing this. I hope you have gotten to use the boat regularly enough to answer some questions. I am curious about the fuel economy. Also curious about the pulling power. We have BIG skiers that need BIG pull to get up out of the water. We would be using here in stumpville on freshwater, and down at the coast. Looking to consolidate a 10 person runabout that has a lot of power for skiers and plenty of seating for cruising and our bass boat that is just to scary with now that we have grandkids. Will likely do the cruising in the pontoon and fish and ski with this. Thank you.
