My header is the OBX V2 which is a tomei clone. I did not have to clearance the frame horns. The exhaust midpipe did not have to be removed at all. No coolant lines were disconnected at all. And the motor mount also did not need removing or the engine jacked up. The key to header installation on the NC is to remove the alternator heat shield duct. It has three 8mm bolts holding it on to the back of the alternator. The outer heat shield on the frame horn is easy to remove. Two 10mm bolts are accessible from the bottom with a long extension. Anyone trying to do header installs should begin down below and disconnect the midpipe BEFORE removing header flange nuts at the head. Better to get the difficult contortionist work done first anyway. This job was nowhere near as difficult as I have seen people make it.

You needed to trim that much for 265/75/R16's? I couldn't tell the tire size. I wanted 33's for my 4" but jeez, they are likely going to rub even with heavy trimming. Props for the camera and one hand work man!

you don't have to grind out that spot. I just installed mine today, had to disconnect the passenger side motor mount and jacked up the engine by the oil pan a bit. gave it enough clearance.

Hey man. I know this is an older vid but I Had to comment and say what a GREAT job you did with this vid. You have described the BEST way to go about doing this job. ESPECIALLY the Rear. Taking the top nut off the shock and letting it come apart made the job SO simple.
