I love this setup!! I know it was a while ago, but I was wondering what you used for the 3 outer metal bands that are c-clamped down, and how did you get those to match the circumference curve?

Great job Abner. JP would be delighted. What do you plan as a follow up?
@abnerfritz72893 жыл бұрын
Thank you, no follow up plans, I've got tons of songs but mostly they never get recorded. If you'd like to hear something a little different from a few years ago, This is a band I had a few years ago where I play banjo and sing oldwestaction.bandcamp.com/releases

@@abnerfritz7289 Thanks for taking time to reply to me. I am an 80 year old male living on a farm in Australia. For the past seven years I have been learning to play a baritone ukulele. You may be aware a baritone is not tuned GCEA like most ukes but rather DGBE like the higher chords of a guitar. At my age and with stiff hands, a six string guitar was a bit too ambitious for me. I have been a JP enthusiast for six years after and old friend in Chicago introduced me to "Spanish Pipedream". I have John's autobiography in which he very kindly provided the lyrics and chords for many of his songs. Your video has the lyrics so I have started singing along with you. Is there any chance of you sending me a chord TAB? If you also give me your Postal address I will mail you US $20.00.Happy trails. Peter

Peter, I'd be happy to write down the chords for you, no payment neccesary. I'm tickled by the idea that someone on the other side of the earth wants to play a song I wrote.
