Amiga 500 was my first gaming system and Prince of Persia was among the games i first had and it was such an amazing experience. None of the other editions of the original don’t match the magic of the Amiga version for me

These videos are great, i love watching them and thank you for putting them together. One suggestion or thought tho that always comes up when I hear those success stories is: how many others tried and were not able to fulfill their initial promise or failed due to *some* circumstance. I'd love to hear those stories as well, they are War Stories as well (if that exists already I'd appreciate any pointers)

He's able to articulate the story with flair and phrases like 'What would I do?' and dramatic pauses, it's like he's reading story of his memory rather than the memory but it's really engaging. The dedication to transferring human movement into the game is so impressive, and worthwhile.

As a programming generalist with demoscene background, all of these techniques are familiar. But implementing them all under time pressure and all solidly remains a huge achievement for the team.

I was absolutely blown away by this game when it first came out as a kid. Me and my friends would take turns playing it and I had a hard time passing my controller over for the next person to play. I was like "No just one more!".

This was so awesome and inspiring to watch. Must of been GREAT fun, him and his brother, actually making use of their equipment to innovate and make something. Must of been so rewarding to see results slowly conforming to his vision of what he wanted. No feeling quite like it, where your creative and technical efforts, all the reading, practice, and seeing his techniques actually working, nothing beats it.

This game was really horrifying when I played it back then and still is to this day. I really liked how the second game was also as impressive and intense and scary as the first one. Thank you guy for the horror. 👍

4yrs late to this video, but it was still awesome getting to watch this for the first time. But if Mr Brevik trolls through, thank you! This games atmosphere, art style, gameplay, THE SOUNDTRACK! It was a true digital piece of art! To Mr Brevik, and all the OG staff of Blizzard, Job well done. I still play both the first two games near 30yrs later! Few titles will achieve what Diablo 1/2 did in terms of gaming impact.
