Wow! That was really a treat! I hope you guys play live again - and could stream it like this. Really enjoyed this show! Thank you

Never in the history of Rock N Roll has a bassist stolen the entire show. I can't stop focusing on the bass lines or her. This band leads with the bass in every song.

I was thinking about filming the whole show but then about 10 minutes before the set started Yussef got on the mic from backstage and asked nicely to keep filming to a minimum.

It was impromptu also. Glasper said "we never do this" before they got into it, and I don't know of him performing it in recent years.

It's in the info (but KZbin make it hard to find the video info now): 01. Why Break Mine [Jubu Smith / Legally Blynd]
Couldn't take it! sorry way too much distortion on all keyboard variations from the Hammond to the nord.. way to harsh for the tonel sound of the band
@FunkItBlog15 күн бұрын
It's a raw mono SBD patch mixed in. The on-stage mics didn't pick up much of the keys. It is what it is, and it's much better than nothing!

Were you there filming Joe Russo's Selcouth Quartet for their show? Those guys were incredible! The best type of music to listen to at 3am in New Orleans for Jazz Fest!

Warms my heart to know they're playing again!!!! I first saw them in the late Ninties at Willy's Tavern in Stillwater, OK when I was a grad student. And Jason is playing drums again!!!!! Always talking to him!

Er...I meant it was always great to talk to him as a fellow drummer at shows. Also really digging on Reed's vibe!!

Saw Mike’s band in Glasgow last night, Sunday, June 9th, the venue was too small, but they were truly awesome! Stefano Pilia was still on guitar, the sounds he was wrenching out of it…psychedelic as hell! Mike on bass (obviously) and now it’s Paolo Mongardi on drums. The best gig I’ve seen all year!
