Germany needed this loss imo. because i see them as contenders for the WC. players like musiala, wirtz and havertz needed this loss for more experience. i think if they learn from this experience well and combine that experience with the older and more experienced players like kimmich, rudiger and gundogan they will be very hard to beat in the WC.
