As a former ferret owner, I'm sure play dead and feed me didn't take long to learn. Tas loved belly rubs too.

if you have 28oz berber like the carpet in this video & you see strands coming off of it like in the video, take a pair of scissors & cut the strand at floor level, as short as you can. applying a clear drying glue would also be smart, but whatever you do , dont pull the strands. 👍

AWWW!! Ferrets look so cuddly!! We have had at least one ferret in our house since 1994!! Usually we have 2 but have had 3 at times! No mice in the house ever since!

Aww! So cute!! Glad you saved Nut! I saw your other video with Ghost. How much does he/she weigh? Several years ago we had a Canadian Monster Ferret named Kirby and he weighed a little over 4 pounds! Kirby was the most dooking ferret we have ever owned!

I want a big boy just like him!! Unfortunately here, in the U.S. Marshall is the biggest ferret breeder and they use them for animal testing. I dont imagine they introduce any new polecat DNA, their food is abominable. Marshall is also clever as they placed in the papers when you get the ferret that the warranty is only good IF you leave them on their brand of kibble. As soon as I had my three, they were all switched off to a better kibble. Almost immediately their coats got healthier, their stool stopped stinking. They had more energy! Unfortunately at 10 months one of my girls became ill and passed. Ferret rescues are few and far between here and the vet costs beyond routine health check ups, is extraordinary. For one night in the animal ER it was 3000 dollars. It's a catch 22- buying the ferrets, which are from Marshall's continues to enable Marshall's. If good people who truly can care for them dont adopt them, then who knows? You can rescue a ferret for a fee but then you are in the "genetics lottery". Will they have cancer, adrenal disease, social issues etc. I kind of see it like; either way you're giving them a home where they can thrive and that's what counts. But I certainly wish things were different.

I love how 'play dead' is literally just the ferret laying down and getting treats, that ferret is having the time of their life

I could probably get my girls to get up on their back legs but knowing that the back legs of a fair are probably not the strongest it's only for a little bit which is fine with me

When I lived in Germany I bought a pair of ferrets.i used to love running and they would stay right beside me throughout the field without a leash.only thing is they'd steal my socks.one time we had a issue with the sink.when the plumber opened the bottom cabinetry there was like hundreds of socks.
