St Sebastian was the first American Saint (born in San Francisco)... i could be wrong. St peter killed in SF and St Olga as well... Both from Alaska. Either way, very good content.

St. Seraphim of Platina is the first American saint, not simply a saint who walked on North American soil. Eugene Rose was born a white, Anglo-Saxon protestant, and is an American saint in the sense that our founding fathers understood the word "American." If we natural born Americans are to be saved, we must heed the teachings of Father Seraphim.
