Honestly, I would go with the JBL P310 over both speakers. Right now on Amazon, you can get it for $349.99. Price to performance, it’s a much better deal.

namaste sir I am from India. which one should I purchase for good sound quality JBL authentic 200 or (2) stereo JBL flip 6 . but I purchase any one of them because of limited budget. and portability is not issue for me

One charge 5 has deeper bass than 2x flip 6 and flip 6 dont have good sound quality better buy authentics if you can authentics 200 sounds better than xtreme 3/4

I own a Woburn 3 and its sounds heaven to me, JBL have 3 tweeters which give a more detailed high.

Can you tell me if the Harman Kardon go + play 3 has latency in its AUX IN, if you connect a musical instrument there, is it possible to play the instrument connected there AUX IN, without latency? I've already tried it on the JBL Boombox 3 and it doesn't work, the JBL's AUX IN has a lot of latency and it's impossible to use it to play an instrument.

Marshall frequency response is better and has more bass extention. You just say jbl is better cause "boum boum" effect but the bass extension is not the best between the two and the sound clarity and définition is far better on the Marshall.

@@BackyardCed I'm a pro musician and I have experience in pro recording studios. I have very good DAC and headphones to ear every subtiliy of the audio. And if you read the caracteristics of every model, you will see that the Marshall bass extension is better. That's the official numbers...and numbers can't lie ! My ears can't either

@@Ve8g Thanks for the reply :) It’s seems to me that the JBL is more of a hip hop/ bass oriented type of music system. Not the type of music I’m into. I’d be curious to play some Blue Notes live recordings on both systems and see what I’d prefer

@@BackyardCed nothing remplace a test in real conditions, for shure ! But with a good DAC and headphones, you can ear the sound signature of every monitor. The JBL are more rnb or electronic music oriented ! If you listen variety, pop, rock, jazz etc... the Marshall is the way to go !

No mids no delay. & reverb sounds cheep. And only one xlr out u need a y cable to connect a multy effect board.

Nope, because the Aux is an input to connect media source such as mobile, tab, laptops etc. you need an aux out or line out to be able to connect an additional speaker or a subwoofer. Hope that helps😊.

Exactly. Marshall is overpriced. I brought one for 200. The sound was flat. M eu boom that cost 100 was way better. I took it back to the store.

@@bambomango9427 well they are also about 4 times the size and weight ;) - just accenting how people get hung up on numbers, depends how the power is being measured. Same speakers (4 of them at the same time @8ohm each) also run comfortably from a 40+ year old 35w per channel amp, switching to a 700watt d class pro amp didnt get them to run louder, just the highs and mids became cleaner - at peak levels atleast, but bass flatter yet more tightly controlled.

Roam sounds bit louder because of its high frequency tones, but when compared to Flex, it lacks the low frequency tones and depth.

I had a pair of studio minis and they were amazing. So I got a pair of these.....they outdid themselves😊...very impressed with quality. I don't know why these don't get the hype they deserve . I find for the size and quality it's best in the market right now.

In my opinion Marshall has better treble but it could get harsher at times, whereas JBL gives you more balanced sound.

Ok. it's been a long time, and I just got my Boombox 2 after doing many comparisons and tests with the Boombox 3, here are my two cents: First, Boombox 2 has a more centered sound. BB3 has a better wide sound. BB2 has a better overall sound to my ears; BB3 has considered too much deep bass, in a way that it is artificial - ok, if you play/listen to electronic music, or all of that sort, BB3 is for you. In my case, Classical, Rock, Blues, and BB2 sounds more natural. One may think 180 watts brings louder sound; it is not! BB2 is louder, but at high, very high volumes, the sound gets a little compressed. But guys, at up about 70% of the volume, BB2 is phenomenal. I took the BB2. a better overall speaker, with a more neutral sound signature.

Вы ведь понимаете,что это разные весовые категории? С этими настройками эквалайзера Маршалл отыгрывает рок великолепно,но в то же время я слышу,как jbl производит атмосферные низкие частоты в хип-хопе. По моему мнению,здесь стОило бы быть authentics 300

You can definitely tell the differences between the two units . While the Marshall sounds good- it seems to run Flat , more focused on the upper highs . The JBL. Is a Wolf in sheep’s clothing. It’s an absolute beast. Having The highs was about 5% louder and the bass seem so Hover around 32-38 Hz . At 60 %. I was hearing some Compression from JBL . Bass heavy music the JBL Runs out of steam and Marshall wasn’t any better maybe 5% gain in volume .
